for SATB (with divisions) unaccompanied Dona nobis pacem is an
expressive setting that combines two lines on the subject of peace
from the Ordinary of the Latin Mass. A slow tempo lends grace and
poise to the gentle, sustained vocal lines and lush choral
harmonies, and the composer juxtaposes homophonic and contrapuntal
writing to great effect. The piece was composed in 2010 and may be
performed in the alternative key of B major.
Struggles for environmental justice involve communities mobilising
against powerful forces which advocate 'development', driven
increasingly by neoliberal imperatives. In doing so, communities
face questions about their alliances with other groups, working
with outsiders and issues of class, race, ethnicity, gender,
worker/community and settler/indigenous relationships. Written by a
wide range of international scholars and activists, contributors
explore these dynamics and the opportunities for agency and
solidarity. They critique the practice of community development
professionals, academics, trade union organisers, social movements
and activists and inform those engaged in the pursuit of justice as
community, development and environment interact.

Lion Hearted Love is a rowdy, fun look at the marital partnership
— love included, money included, sacrifices included
— over the long arcs of time. The modern agenda for
marriage is ambitious It's to be a partnership of romantic love and
robust economy and individual fulfillment. Did we say ambitious?
Mark Butler, maestro of the alt-money universe, delivers once
again. Expect a little wisdom, a little practical advice, and a
trove of kicky and poignant stories about the crazy things we
humans can do in this domain.
We know that personal finance should be simple math: spend less
than what comes in the door. Yet we also know thatpeople being
peoplethis is rarely done with ease. Enter Mark Butlers winsome,
original work on the psychology of money. While encountering a
variety of irrepressible characters and their all-too-human
stories, were presented a compelling new paradigm through which to
finally see who we are in relation to our personal money. In Zen
Money Blues, this proves to be a most humorous and satisfying
journey.
