A straight-to-video spin-off from Disney's 1993 animated feature. Aladdin is worried about his impending marriage to Princess Jasmine, and in particular his future role as a father, as he has never known his own. When the forty thieves steal a magical talisman during the ceremony, Aladdin is forced to put such concerns to one side. Family comedy adventure which sees two orphans deciding to rescue a city's stray dogs. Arriving at a foster home with a 'strictly no pets' policy, 16-year-old Andi (Emma Roberts) and her younger brother Bruce (Jake T. Austin) realise they'll have to find a home for their dog Friday. On a trip downtown, the kids discover an old disused hotel that would be ideal for their needs. When they discover some of the local strays have already made it their home, they decide to take it one step further, turning the hotel into a refuge, and pleasure palace, for every stray mutt they can possibly find. But all the activity soon brings them to the notice of the police and the local dog-catchers, who valiantly, if stupidly, try to close down the operation.

The eponymous street urchin meets by chance the beautiful Princess Jasmine in the marketplace after she has sneaked out of the royal palace looking for some fun. The sultan's advisor, the evil Jafar, who is hatching an evil plot to marry Jasmine and become sultan himself, senses her attraction to the youth and immediately gives orders to throw Aladdin in jail. But when Aladdin discovers a magic lamp in a cave, his quest begins: to defeat Jafar and win the hand of the princess, with the help of the Genie in the lamp (voice of Robin Williams) .
