Mother's Little Helper is a story about a fifteen-year-old young man by the name of Roger Brenner who is subjected to acts of degradation by his possessed mother. The tale leads the young man on an adventure of blood and death as Mother begins to ravage the town of Cold Springs, turning innocent people into blood crazed ghouls. Roger teams up with a private detective named Victor Hogue as they fight for survival in a town gone mad.

With the ghoul epidemic out of control, fifteen-year-old Roger Brenner and his group of friends try to find safe haven in the town of Bedford. But the epidemic has spread. The infestation of ghoulish vampires have no boundaries. Roger and his friends team up with a platoon of Marines, who are desperately trying to keep some sort of order in a daytime madhouse of vicious, organized gangs who prey on the innocent. And a nighttime of supernatural evil bent on slaughter and blood. The Marines patrol by day, but hunker down at night behind a small fortress waiting, wondering, what the next day will bring.
