Wie kann der gegenwartig bestehende Hiatus zwischen Ethik, der Reflexion auf Moral und Ethos, dem sittlichen Handeln als solchen, uberwunden werden? Zur Beantwortung dieser Frage nimmt Martin Hahnel Bezug auf die Idee einer grundlegenden sittlichen Werthaltung - Sachlichkeit -, deren anthropologische Wurzeln zuerst von Max Scheler, Helmuth Plessner und Arnold Gehlen aufgewiesen wurden.
