The Book of Genesis chapters 1 - 5 provides information about what
God did in order to create the heaven and the earth for mankind. It
includes details on how God created mankind; what Adam and Eve did
with the devil against God's Word; what God did to the devil, Adam,
Eve, and the world in response to their bad behavior; and how
mankind lived after their fall from the position that God had
placed them in. This book includes verses translated from the Greek
old covenant writing, sometimes referred to as the Septuagint.
Additionally, some comparisons to the Hebrew text are provided.
Prophets including Abraham, Moses, and David prophesied about the
Christ whom God promised in Genesis 3:15. Jesus the Christ lived
his life in the name of God before his death - and God raised him
up alive to become the Lord and the Christ of all of God's people.
Christ Jesus the Lord is God's son, the King of kings and Lord of
lords.
The Bible contains many records revealing information on the abyss,
the devil, and death. This book provides God's viewpoint regarding
the abyss and the spirits confined in the abyss; the devil's
motives and activities; how death came to pass for mankind; and the
truth that Christ Jesus defeated the devil. The Lord Jesus Christ
now has the keys of death and gravedom, and at a future time all
against God and the Lord Jesus Christ will be completely destroyed
in the second death.
During Noah's lifetime the bad behavior of most of mankind had
caused corruption. This corruption became so prevalent that God
decided to implement His judgment via a flood covering the whole
earth about 1,650 years after Adam was created. Noah built an ark
according to God's instructions. Before the flood began, he and his
family along with other creatures went on board. All of those in
this ark were saved from the deluge of water. After the flood, God
made the rainbow covenant with Noah and all of the other living
creatures. This book includes verses translated from the Greek old
covenant writing, sometimes referred to as the Septuagint.
Additionally, some comparisons to the Hebrew text are provided.
The word "love" is used in many contexts in our society today;
however, God's people should understand what God says regarding
love. God is love and He demonstrates His love towards us by
fulfilling all that He promised in Christ. We can live our lives
being in love - loving ourselves and one-another with God's kind of
love. This study focuses on the various aspects of love that are
included in the Bible, thereby allowing us to understand love from
God's viewpoint.
The Bible tells us to pray to God at all times and that He hears
our prayers. Also, God answers our prayers in various ways, for
example: by sending one of His angels with a message, or we may
receive the answer via the holy spirit within us; plus we may be
given information regarding what to believe, say, and do so that
our prayerful request would come to pass. God is patient regarding
His people and He will perform His Word at the correct time,
whether that may be immediately or in the future.
Speaking with tongues is available to be done by all Christians
today. It is proof that God raised Jesus up alive from being dead
and that Jesus is the Lord and the Christ. Christians can pray in
spirit during our private lives by speaking with tongues to God,
even though these words are a mystery to the person praying. We can
also speak in a tongue and speak the interpretation of those words
when we are in a gathering of the church, thereby allowing any
unbelievers present to hear the sign proving that God has
accomplished redemption and salvation by means of the Lord Jesus
Christ whom He raised from the dead.
It is written in Deuteronomy 32:35: "With Me (is) vengeance, I will
repay," says the Lord God. God will execute final justice by means
of the Lord Jesus Christ at the time of his revelation from heaven.
Vengeance can also be carried-out today against our bad behavior so
that we are living in obedience to God and His Word. This study
focuses on God's viewpoint regarding the execution of justice and
that it is fearful to fall into the hands of the living God.
