These words are listed according to the root words of the Hebrew. This index lists the Hebrew and Aramaic words in alphabetical order, gives the Strong's Concordance number assigned to it by James Strong, and the exact page and column where the word may be found and discussed. To facilitate its use in connection with The Interlinear Hebrew-English Old Testament (where the Strong's number is printed directly over the word, this index lists the Strong's numbers in their numerical order in the first column. then the alphabetical listing of the Hebrew words is in the second column. The third column then gives the page and column where the word is discussed in the Hebrew lexicon.This takes all the mystery, and the frustration, out of using the Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew-Aramaic lexicons. Even the learned Hebrew scholars are apt to forget the root word unless he or she is constantly using them in regular practice.
