Classic Hammer horror starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Jonathan Harker (John Van Eyssen) journeys to Castle Dracula, where he is turned into one of the undead by the famous vampire (Lee). Professor Van Helsing (Cushing) arrives and drives a stake through Harker's heart, but must then pursue Dracula to London, where the Count intends to make Harker's fiancée Lucy Holmwood his bride. Lee and Cushing went on to make several more 'Dracula' films for Hammer.
The first in Hammer studios' long line of horror films. Awaiting execution in his dingy cell, Baron Victor Frankenstein (Peter Cushing) confides his story to a priest. Orphaned as a child, Frankenstein worked closely with his tutor, Paul Krempe (Robert Urquhart), experimenting on animals until they successfully revived a dead puppy. Much to Paul's unease, Frankenstein then worked obsessively to create a monster (Christopher Lee) out of assorted body parts, but once given life the creature attacked its maker and went on the rampage.
'60s B-Movie Caper featuring a jungle guide (Michael Latimer) kidnapped by a lost tribe of natives who want to sacrifice him to their god - a white rhino. At the moment of his imminent dispatch, however, he is incredibly thrown backwards in time to a kingdom of dominant, uniformly buxom and comely brunette ladies and their blonde slaves. Their leader Queen Kari (Martine Beswick) puts the hard word on the junglist but he turns her down and sides with the blondes, leading to his imprisonment. Escape from the shoddily built prison looks simple enough, but then there's the matter of escaping this prehistoric timeslice and getting back to the '60s.Produced under the title 'Slave Girls of the White Rhino', the film was a hastily conceived means of recycling the sets and costumes from One Million Years B.C. Producer and director Michael Carreras wisely wrote the screenplay under a pseudonym. The name he chose, 'Henry Younger', was a joke at the expense of Anthony Hinds, who wrote under the name 'John Elder'.
Offbeat 1960s Hammer Studios fantasy horror. When Captain Lansen (Eric Portman)'s leaky cargo ship is blown off course, the crew members find themselves in a mysterious, fog-shrouded ocean where the seaweed eats human flesh and mutated crab-like creatures with huge claws are on the loose. The surviving crew and passengers then encounter a band of Spanish conquistadors who think it is still the 1500s and the Inquisition is still in progress.
