The decedents of Jim Gray and Doc Hopper live in a utopian world ruled by an unknown government. The system keeps the people of the future happy with education, a job, food, entertainment and complacency. Human imperfections and illness are a thing of the past. The young people are perfectly formed and there is no God or old age to concern them.
