Charged by the Time Lords with the task of destroying the Dalek menace before they have even developed, the Doctor travels with Sarah (Elisabeth Sladen) and Harry (Ian Marter) back in time to the planet of Skaro, to a point where he could prevent the evolution of the Dalek race. But the Doctor faces a crisis of conscience as he questions the ethics of what amounts to genocide. Will he be able to destroy an entire species to save countless lives in the future?

The Doctor (Jon Pertwee) and Sarah encounter a similarly stranded expedition from Earth, who are seeking a cure for the plague which is spreading rapidly across the galaxy. The Doctor believes that he can find a solution in the technologically advanced but long-abandoned city of the Exxilons, but becomes caught up in a power struggle between the humans and the latest arrivals to the planet: his old enemies, the Daleks.

Another adventure for everyone's favourite Time Lord. A may-day call to the Doctor (Tom Baker) and Sarah takes them to the outermost horizons of the Universe where they find a Morestran military expedition stranded on a remote planet. The Doctor has to battle an anti-matter monster, the unstable Morestran Commander Salamar, and scientist Professor Sorenson, who is transforming into a deadly Anti-man.

Two classic Doctor Who adventures, one from the 1970s and one from the 1980s, both featuring those sinister humanoids the Cybermen. In 'Revenge of the Cybermen' (1975), the Doctor (Tom Baker), Sarah Jane (Elisabeth Sladen) and Harry (Ian Marter) return to the space station Nerva (from 'The Ark in Space') to recover the TARDIS. They discover the crew decimated by a strange plague, to which Sarah falls prey. The Doctor realises that the plague is part of a plot by the Cybermen to destroy Voga, the planet of gold - gold being the only thing which is lethal to them. At the same time the Vogans are planning to destroy the Cybermen with their Skystriker rocket. The three-part adventure 'Silver Nemesis' (1988) was made to celebrate Dr Who's 25th anniversary. A statue, blasted into space 350 years ago, crashes into Earth in the core of a meteor. The Doctor (Baker) and his assistant Ace (Sophie Aldred) must fight two armies from different time periods, a regiment from 1988 and a battallion of soldiers from 2688, whilst guarding the statue from the clutches of the Cybermen.

The Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) faces terrifying plastic Autons and the evil Master in these two classic Doctor Who adventures. In 'Spearhead from Space' (1969), the newly-regenerated Doctor begins his exile on 20th century Earth after being forbidden to continue his travels through time and space by his fellow Time Lords. His arrival coincides with a shower of strange meteorites, which are promptly investigated by the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce. Although his old friend Brigadier Alastair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart (Nicholas Courtney) is initially suspicious of the Doctor's new appearance and personality, he is forced to ask for his help when several of the meteorites go missing. The Doctor discovers that the meteor shower was in fact the first wave of an invasion by hostile alien intelligence the Nestene; phase two begins when the Autons - deadly plastic mannequins created by the Nestene agents on Earth - launch an attack on the unsuspecting public. In 'Terror of the Autons' (1970), the Doctor must pit his wits against the Nestene invaders, now teamed with renegade Time Lord the Master. This episode marks the first appearance of Jo Grant (Katy Manning), Captain Mike Yates (Richard Franklin) and The Master (Roger Delgado).
