It is 2011 and Angel flees New York City to San Juan, Puerto Rico. A relentless chase by Homeland Security forces him to hide on the island in the home of his lover, Victoria Nieves. He meets up with his co-conspirators, Mohammed, Raul, and their idealism for an independent Puerto Rico soon takes over and poisons their actions as this group strikes against prominent industrialist, Robert Iceland.
