When the Winslow family moves from Kansas to Orange County, California with their goofy, accident-prone Great Dane, Marmaduke (voiced by Owen Wilson), the big dog experiences all kinds of trouble fitting in with his new canine neighbours. The film also features the voice talents of Emma Stone, William H. Macy, Sam Elliott, Steve Coogan and Kiefer Sutherland. 'Firehouse Dog' (2007) follows Rex, Hollywood's top-grossing canine known for his extreme athletic abilities and diva-like demeanour. His perks package, rivalling that of any A-list celebrity, includes Kobe beef, a poodle harem and a diamond collar. Unfortunately an accident that occurs while Rex is shooting a commercial leads his handlers to presume he's dead. But Rex is merely lost. Alone, filthy and unrecognisable in an unfamiliar city, how will Rex deal with a scenario much more common to dogs than his previous pampered existence?

After being thrown out of the Coco Bongo nightclub one sad evening, timid bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss (Carrey) happens across a powerful Norse mask in the river which transforms him into a wise-cracking, zoot-suited, green-faced superhero. With his new-found charm and powers, which include infinite malleability of his own body, Stanley chats up the gorgeous woman of his dreams, singer Tina Carlyle (Diaz), robs his own bank, outwits the cops and demolishes the local hoods. His extravagant nightly exploits attract the unwanted attention of Lt. Mitch Kellaway (Peter Riegert) and Tina's boyfriend Dorian Tyrell (Peter Greene), who is trying to exert his own control over the city.

'Darkman 2 - The Return of Durant' (1994) sees the return of the crime-fighting master of disguise, Darkman (Arnold Vosloo replacing Neeson as the disfigured superhero), who, using his former identity of Dr Peyton Westlake, is very close to discovering the secret of making himself whole again. However, a certain chain of events causes him to relive the nightmares which disfigured him, leading him and his assistant to discover that his old enemy, Robert G. Durant (Larry Drake), is not dead as thought, but very much alive and kicking. 'Darkman 3 - Die Darkman Die' (1995) is the final outing for Dr Peyton Westlake (Vosloo), alias Darkman, who this time round does battle with a drugs baron (Jeff Fahey). This villain wants to obtain the secret of Westlake's superhuman strength, and Westlake is thus plunged into a game of survival.
