Miles Teller and Justin Chon star in this comedy written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, screenwriters of 'The Hangover'. The night before the medical school interview that will determine his entire future, a promising college student is dragged out by his two oldest friends to celebrate his 21st birthday. But as one beer leads inevitably to another, the evening spirals into a grand misadventure of mayhem and debauchery that will have far-reaching effects for the whole trio.

Out of print for over forty years, The 007 Diaries introduces Roger
Moore's James Bond Diary to a new generation of fans. To tie in
with the release of his first James Bond film, Live and Let Die,
Roger Moore agreed to keep a day-by-day diary throughout the film's
production, which would be published just ahead of the premiere in
July 1973. From his unveiling as the new 007 in 1972 through to his
first scenes on location in New Orleans and his final shot in New
York, Moore describes his whirlwind journey as cinema's most famous
secret agent. Taking in the sights of Jamaica before returning to
Pinewood Studios, Moore's razor wit and unique brand of humour is
ever present. With tales from every location, including his
encounters with his co-stars and key crew members, Moore offers the
reader an unusually candid, amusing and hugely insightful
behind-the-scenes look into the world's most successful film
franchise.
Origins of Globalization draws widely on ancient sources and
modern economic theory to detail the concept of "known world"
globalization, arguing that a mixed economy--similar in many
respects to our own--existed in a variety of forms throughout the
ancient world. By analyzing the business practices of the ancient
world--phenomena such as resource and market seeking behavior,
international trade from China, India and Rome, to Africa and even
northern and western parts of Europe, Small and Medium Size
Enterprises (SMEs) operating internationally and outsourcing
production, multicultural workforces, tariff reduced zones,
interregional tax issues, and the management of currency risks--the
authors provide readers with a unique historical interpretation of
the contemporary globalizing economy and a durable theoretical
framework for future historical economic analyses.

In this new, special edition of a cult classic work, photographer
Derry Moore and interior designer David Mlinaric take readers on a
panoramic tour inside some of Britain's finest buildings, guiding
them through five centuries of English interior design. Mlinaric's
informed text and Moore's perceptive photographs present the best
examples of both public and private buildings- from
sixteenth-century Haddon Hall, Chastleton and Knole to
seventeenth-century Hatfield and Wilton; Houghton Hall and Syon
House from the eighteenth century; Apsley House, the Palace of
Westminster and Waddesdon Manor from the nineteenth; and
twentieth-century examples including Charleston and the Apollo
Victoria Theatre. The work of British masters including Inigo
Jones, William Kent and Robert Adam, as well as of influential
twentieth-century tastemakers such as Nancy Lancaster, Pauline de
Rothschild and David Hicks, is revealed in striking photographs and
authoritative texts. Anglophiles, armchair tourists, and lovers of
grand interiors will relish the photographs of these wonderful
buildings, while discovering more about the designers and
architects who built them, charting the evolution that has made
British style so alluring, enduring, and widely imitated over the
centuries.
Alan Moore and David Lloyd's powerful epic about loss of freedom
and individuality gets the Absolute treatment! Taking place in a
totalitarian England following a devastating war that changed the
face of the planet, V FOR VENDETTA was the inspiration for the hit
2005 movie starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving. This amazing
graphic novel spotlights a mysterious man in a white porcelain mask
and his young protege as they fight political oppressors through
terrorism and seemingly absurd acts. It's a gripping tale of the
blurred lines between ideological good and evil and details a world
where political and personal freedoms are non-existent.
The Workshop on the Economics of Information Security was
established in 2002 to bring together computer scientists and
economists to understand and improve the poor state of information
security practice. WEIS was borne out of a realization that
security often fails for non-technical reasons. Rather, the
incentives of both - fender and attacker must be considered.
Earlier workshops have answered questions ranging from?nding
optimal levels of security investement to understanding why privacy
has been eroded. In the process, WEIS has attracted participation
from the diverse?elds such as law, management and psychology. WEIS
has now established itself as the leading forum for
interdisciplinary scholarship on information security. The eigth

broad range of topics in the ?eld of neurosurgery, 5 for residents
and registrars in training and for recent graduates of training
programs. 6 As neurosurgical training incorporates expertise from
centers worldwide, there is a 7 need to have input from specialists

Arditti's approachable work covers the all the details of
design, siting and construction - once a basic type has been
decided upon. It is written in a way that is equally applicable to
the USA and UK (where there are slightly different building
regulations) and deals with matters that are basic to building and
commissioning any amateur observatory. Uniquely, David Arditti also
considers the aesthetics of amateur observatories - fitting them in
with family and neighbors, and maybe disguising them as more common
garden buildings if necessary. Every amateur astronomer who wants a
purpose-built observatory (and let's face it, which one of them
doesn't?) will find this book invaluable.

Political science and sociology increasingly rely on mathematical
modeling and sophisticated data analysis, and many graduate
programs in these fields now require students to take a "math camp"
or a semester-long or yearlong course to acquire the necessary
skills. Available textbooks are written for mathematics or
economics majors, and fail to convey to students of political
science and sociology the reasons for learning often-abstract
mathematical concepts. A Mathematics Course for Political and
Social Research fills this gap, providing both a primer for math
novices in the social sciences and a handy reference for seasoned
researchers. The book begins with the fundamental building blocks
of mathematics and basic algebra, then goes on to cover essential
subjects such as calculus in one and more than one variable,
including optimization, constrained optimization, and implicit
functions; linear algebra, including Markov chains and
eigenvectors; and probability. It describes the intermediate steps
most other textbooks leave out, features numerous exercises
throughout, and grounds all concepts by illustrating their use and
importance in political science and sociology. * Uniquely designed
and ideal for students and researchers in political science and
sociology * Uses practical examples from political science and
sociology * Features "Why Do I Care?" sections that explain why
concepts are useful * Includes numerous exercises * Complete online
solutions manual (available only to professors, email david.siegel
at duke.edu, subject line "Solution Set") * Selected solutions
available online to students
