Bei der tiefgreifenden und weitreichenden Bedeutung, die der Friedens vertrag fUr Deutschlands weltwirtschaftlichen Anteil zur Folge hat, bedarf es vor aJIem zuna.chst einmal einer geordneten und aufklai: enden Darstellung der Grundlage, die durch den Friedensvertrag gegeben ist, damit der beruflich Beteiligte, aber auch derjenige, der nur mittelbare Beziehungen dazu hat - und das ist die Gesamtheit des deutschen Volkes - in die weltwirtschaftlichen Zusammenhiinge und die daraus fir das deutsche Wirtschaftsleben entstehenden Probleme Einblick gewinnt. In dem Werke auf die Einzelheiten zu sehr einzugehen, sollte ver mieden werden; denn as wurde nicht ala seine Aufgabe betrachtet, eine erschopfende Darstellung der in Betracht kommenden Fragen zu geben."
