Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells: Emerging Trends and Advanced

I passed my bachelor degree in engineering from MME, CEET, Punjab
University, Lahore in 16April 2012. The work presented was my final
year bachelor project in which I made a rocket capable of
delivering 20 kg package upto 40 km range. The intention behind
this work was to develop an easy and systematic approach for rocket
design. Material selection methods and approach are also discussed
in this book with respect to design stages. Materials play a vital
role in rocket performance and light weight high strength material

Careless and indiscriminate use of pesticides to control different
pests has distressed the natural balance between pests and
biological control agents, along with the difficulty of
environmental pollution. In the present changing situation of the
world, role of the biological control agents cannot be ignored. The
potential role of biological control agents in IPM has attracted
the concentration of scientists to discover and manipulate the
natural enemies instead of conventional control methods, which are
mainly dependent on chemical pesticides. Between different
biological control agents, mites are well-recognized predators
among which the genus Agistemus occupies a significant
place.Agistemus mites (Stigmaeidae) are successful predators of
destructive mites and other soft-bodied insects.They often
establish on plants and can prey on different kinds of harmful
mites.Stigmaeidae is a potential significant predatory mite group
found throughout the world and among this group, same species might
have a very important role in biological control of phytophagous
mites and scale insects.
Vegetables are of good nutritional value with significant potential
as income-generating crop and as supplements to diet consisting
mostly carbohydrates. Despite the importance of vegetables there
are different production constraints wherever they are grown in the
country. The attack by a variety of insect pests is a major factor
restraining increased production of vegetables and is the main
cause of low quality and yield. Because of high vulnerability of
vegetables to insects, farmers lean to apply chemicals for saving
these most perishable agri-products. Farmers adopt different plant
protection strategies which mainly focus on over and heavy use of
pesticides on these crops. As the pesticide applications are
repeated at three days interval therefore there is much chance that
the application of pesticides will not only damage the environment
but will also incurs severe health concerns on the end consumers.
