Most people who heard of my story referred to it as near-death
experience. However there was no out-of-body perception involved. I
was just somewhere, but not in this world. It 's like being all
eyes and heart for I saw, and felt, but did not exist - bodily For
some who might have similar experiences, this might be a time of
sharing a story. Mysterious. Mystical. Yet, very hopeful While
trying to understand what happened, I studied the supernatural
experiences of Saints, and others. It was quite an eye-opener for a
regular Catholic who is suddenly faced with a new, life-changing
outlook. Life became more challenging, but also spiritually
rewarding.

Pope Benedict XVI has mentioned that the Catholic Church must
return to its authentic teachings and practices ? in a way
admitting that something is awry. The clergy can not be expected to
point out what the problems are without appearing insubordinate to
their bishop. Most common Catholics received no warnings from the
pulpit, and only hints from certain quarters or events; separate
proofs from books or newspapers.
There is a need to disclose the forces that have infiltrated the
Church for the last 40 years ? the misinterpretations of the
Vatican II documents, the rampage of liberal theologians, the
incursion of feminism ? and how they affected the Church's
teachings. Some supernatural events ? apparitions, visions, etc? ?
that may have warned about these calamities should also be covered.
The common Catholics will then be better informed, and can be wary
of probable misguided influences, while keeping themselves open to
the orthodox teachings for which they hunger. Knowing the problem
is already half of the solution. Catholics may rally to the
Church's side in these difficult times.
With the Pope's call to the Faithful Remnant, the information
about our beleaguered Church should inspire the regular Catholics
to desire to cooperate with the Pope's agenda ? that of
re-catechizing the common faithful. Their curiosity might make them
study their Faith more assiduously, and they will learn the Truth
that will set them free.
