The Serenity Prayer By Reinhold Niebuhr God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change Courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference Living one day at a time Enjoying one moment at a time Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace. Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next. A young girl from the Bronx of New York leaves home only to find herself in the hands of criminals. Finding out that she is addicted to drugs by force. She admits herself to a hospital rehab. When returning home she finds her whole family is taken in by these same drug lords. Seeking revenge she goes back to a life of crime.Determined to recue her family she finds out who is really behind it all.

A contest was held. The theme was "Poetry Is Life". Out of the many Poets who answered the call, one was chosen as the grand prize winner and eight were chosen as honorable mentions. They represent diverse backgrounds and different viewpoints but all are talented and skilled in the art of poetry. Poet Speak Magazine presents to you the work of those nine gifted Poets.
