This edited book explores the use of mobile technologies such as phones, drones, robots, apps, and wearable monitoring devices for improving access to healthcare for socially disadvantaged populations in remote, rural or developing regions. This book brings together examples of large scale, international projects from developing regions of China and Belt and Road countries from researchers in Australia, Bangladesh, Denmark, Norway, Japan, Spain, Thailand and China. The chapters discuss the challenges presented to those seeking to deploy emerging mobile technologies (e.g., smartphones, IoT, drones, robots etc.) for healthcare (mHealth) in developing countries and discuss the solutions undertaken in these case study projects. This book brings together joint work in mHealth projects across multiple disciplines (software, healthcare, mobile communications, entrepreneurship and business and social development). Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich BWL - Bank, Borse, Versicherung, Note: 1,3, Friedrich-Alexander-Universitat Erlangen-Nurnberg, 117 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die zentrale Fragestellung dieser Arbeit ist, welche Wettbewerbsinstrumente und -strategien betriebswirtschaftlich und gesamtwirtschaftlich gegenwartig von Bedeutung sind und wie sie sich unter moglichen zukunftigen Reformen und Anderungen des Gesundheitssystems in Deutschland verandern konnten. Um diese Frage zu beantworten, wird zunachst der Begriff des Wettbewerbs theoretisch erlautert und im Anschluss auf die GKV ubertragen. Dabei sollen vor allem die Ziele und Zwecke des Wettbewerbs erlautert werden. Im nachsten Schritt werden die wettbewerbsbeschrankenden Regelungen der GKV analysiert und ihre Auswirkungen auf den Kassenwettbewerb erlautert. Das dritte Kapitel widmet sich darauf aufbauend den gegenwartig bedeutsamen und zum Einsatz gebrachten Wettbewerbsinstrumenten und -strategien der KKn unter Berucksichtigung der Wettbewerbsbeschrankungen. Im vierten Kapitel wird zunachst auf das Konstrukt des Gesundheitsfonds als geplante Reform der GKV eingegangen. Die systematischen Veranderungen dieses Gesundheitsfonds werden Auswirkungen auf den Kassenwettbewerb haben. Daher sollen die wichtigsten potentiellen Anderungen und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Wettbewerbsstrategien theoretisch hergeleitet werden. Hierbei werden ebenfalls die gesamtwirtschaftlichen Aspekte des Gesundheitsfonds skizziert. Daran anschliessend sollen im funften Kapitel weitere exemplarische Reformoptionen, die immer wieder in der politischen und wissenschaftlichen Diskussion auftauchen, auf ihre moglichen Auswirkungen auf den Kassenwettbewerb hin untersucht werden. Im letzen Kapitel der Arbeit soll vor diesem Hintergrund ein Fazit aus den vorangegangenen Analysen und Diskussionen gezogen werden
