This book is an attempt to bring value to the enterprise pursuits
in the areas of research and innovation around the specific issues
in terms of topic selection, open data resources and researcher
orientation. Over the last 300 years, industrial revolutions have
had game-changing impact on societies. Presently, by and large, we
are at the crossroads of the fourth industrial revolution, where
phygital systems are going to play a massive role, where digital
systems can simulate and go beyond the limitations of the physical
world, thereby enabling a new world order. This transformation is
cutting across every sphere known to mankind. The world will become
a globally localized marketplace. In today's business world,
sustainability is a corporate agenda. Enterprises are also aiming
to be purpose-driven, adaptive and resilient to disruptions. The
contributions to community and environment are part of their
corporate branding. The book explores and presents a part of the
open data sets from government institutions to achieve the
sustainable goals at local level, in turn contributing towards
global mission. As the topic suggests, the authors are looking at
some of the specific issues in the areas of environment,
agriculture and health care through the lens of data science. The
authors believe that the above three areas chosen have deep
relevance in today's world. The intent is to explore these issues
from a data and analytics perspective and identify cracks through
which deeper inroads can be made. Conscious efforts have been taken
to make use of all the major data science techniques like
prediction, classification, clustering, and correlation. Given the
above background, deeper waters will be explored through the
contents of this book.
This book covers research work spanning the breadth of ventures, a
variety of challenges and the finest of techniques used to address
data and analytics, by subject matter experts from the business
world. The content of this book highlights the real-life business
problems that are relevant to any industry and technology
environment. This book helps us become a contributor to and
accelerator of artificial intelligence, data science and analytics,
deploy a structured life-cycle approach to data related issues,
apply appropriate analytical tools & techniques to analyze data
and deliver solutions with a difference. It also brings out the
story-telling element in a compelling fashion using data and
analytics. This prepares the readers to drive quantitative and
qualitative outcomes and apply this mindset to various business
actions in different domains such as energy, manufacturing, health
care, BFSI, security, etc.
This book provides a comprehensive review of the complex, growing
mental health challenges faced by culturally diverse populations of
children and adolescents.Suicide Among Diverse Youth: A Case-Based
Guidebook is the first book of its kind, and is designed
specifically to bridge the knowledge and skills gap encountered by
most clinicians dealing with youth from diverse cultural
backgrounds, particularly those different than that of the
clinician. The title begins with two introductory chapters, which
cover cultural aspects of suicidality among youth, culturally
informed treatment of suicidality with diverse youth, and examples
of preventative approaches. These are followed by population
specific chapters which cover a broad spectrum of diverse
populations, including underserved ethnic and racial populations in
the United States, LGBTQ youth, as well as various immigrant
populations from Eastern European and Middle Eastern countries.
These case-based chapters are structured in a cohesive,
easy-to-read format that promotes ease of reference, beginning with
a clinical case report, review of literature, unique
characteristics and risk factors associated with suicidality, and
evidence-based practice provided by the authors from their
considerable experience. The authors are often from the same
ethnic, racial, or cultural group that they discuss in their
writings; providing experiential knowledge where scientific
knowledge is lacking. Suicide Among Diverse Youth: A Case-Based
Guidebook is a unique resource that offers the clinical material
needed to treat diverse adolescent patients with sensitive,
intersectional, and culturally-informed care, and will provide an
indispensable resource for medical professionals working with, and
caring for these patients.
Introduces Intelligent IoT as applicable to key areas towards smart
healthcare Discusses computational intelligence and IoT based
optimizations of smart healthcare systems Explores effective
management of healthcare systems using dedicated IoT based
infrastructures Includes dedicated chapters on securing patient's
confidential data Reviews diagnosis of critical diseases from
medical imaging using advanced deep learning-based approaches

Biochemistry of Acid base balance and imbalance for medical
students" has been written taking into the consideration the
difficulties which medical students face while going through this
topic in their study phase. I have taken my lecture notes and
compiled them together into a book. This book will be of help to
medical, paramedical and nursing students. I pray that this book
will be of use for the students concerned.
