Horror in which a clinical trial at a remote facility goes terribly wrong. The trial is highly secret, with no-one, including the staff who administer injections, aware of who is receiving the drug and who is in the placebo group. Shortly after the trial begins it becomes clear that something has gone wrong. There are unexplained disappearances, bizarre silhouettes and screaming from behind locked doors. Marc Evans writes and directs this drama starring the singer, Duffy, in her debut film role. When Rhys (Matthew Gravelle) is required to travel to South America to do a work assignment on Patagonia's Welsh community, his partner, Gwen (Nia Roberts), goes with him, despite the fact they are having relationship difficulties. While there, however, Gwen falls for their driver, Mateo (Matthew Rhys). At the same time, an elderly woman, Cerys (Marta Lubos), leaves Patagonia and heads to Wales where she hopes to discover her family's history.
