Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer star in this
comedy drama written and directed by Diablo Cody. One year after
surviving a plane accident Lamb Mannerhelm (Hough) denounces God
while in church in front of the devout Christian congregation.
Determined to live the life she wants to live she leaves behind the
religious community she has been brought up in and travels to Las
Vegas, hoping to have some new experiences that are deemed sinful
in her home town. While there she befriends bartender William
(Brand) and singer Loray (Spencer) and they join her on her journey
of self-discovery.
Thomas Mann and RJ Cyler star in this coming-of-age drama directed
by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon. Greg and Earl (Mann and Cyler) are high
school students who spend their time making their own versions of
classic movies. Greg makes it his high school purpose to not belong
to any one group, but to have a small role to play in each and
every clique. When Greg's mother (Connie Britton) tells him that a
girl from his class, Rachel (Olivia Cook), has been diagnosed with
leukemia, she convinces her son to pay her a friendly visit. As
Greg tries to get to know Rachel and provide her with a comforting
shoulder to cry on, the two end up forming a unique bond of
friendship and provide each other with much-needed love and
affection.

Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum reprise their roles as an unlikely
pairing of undercover cops in this action comedy sequel based on
the 1980s TV series. Following their success infiltrating a local
high school, fresh-faced police officers Morton Schmidt (Hill) and
Greg Jenko (Tatum) are despatched to college to try and crack a
crime ring. However, the different lifestyles available in college
threaten to reawaken old divisions, as Schmidt is drawn into a
liberal artistic circle and Jenko finds a home in the
testosterone-fuelled domain of the football team. Will the pair be
able to put aside their differences and remain focussed on their
objective amidst the many opportunities and excesses offered by
college life?
Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman lend
their voices to this CGI-animated comedy based on the line of toys
made by Lego. The wicked Lord Business (Will Ferrell) is determined
to destroy the Lego universe and rebuild it using glue - which goes
against the very nature of Lego. Mistaken as the 'Special', the
only surviving Master Builder, the rather ordinary Emmet (Pratt) is
selected to lead a group of figures on a mission to put a stop to
Lord Business's evil plan. Emmet is helped by wise wizard Vitruvius
(Freeman), tough girl Wyldstyle (Banks) and DC superhero Batman
(Arnett), but can he find something extraordinary within himself in
order to save the world? The film also features the voices of
Channing Tatum, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Jonah
Hill. The film won a BAFTA for Best Animated Film and was nominated
for Best Original Song at the Oscars.
Build Stuff with Wood is a true beginner's guide to woodworking,
aimed at anyone who is interested in the craft but has only a few
tools and no real idea where to start. The idea behind the book is
to begin with a basic toolset (a circular saw, chop saw, cordless
drill, jigsaw, and a few hand tools) and then add tools as you go.
Step-by-step projects are presented showing what you can build with
that tool (plus the basic toolset). For example, adding a router to
your tool arsenal allows you to gracefully round edges on tables
and shelves; buying a simple doweling jig opens up the world of
joinery. As well as power tools, hand tools are also introduced. In
all, 14 fun projects will be presented, all built with just a few
woodworking tools and off-the-shelf lumber.
Winner of the National Outdoor Book Award. Celebrating the 50th
anniversary of when Dick Proenneke first broke ground and made his
mark in the Alaskan wilds in 1968, this bestselling memoir features
an all-new foreword by Nick Offerman plus color photographs not
seen in print for over 20 years. To live in a pristine land
unchanged by man...to roam a wilderness through which few other
humans have passed...to choose an idyllic site, cut trees, and
build a log cabin...to be a self-sufficient craftsman, making what
is needed from materials available...to be not at odds with the
world, but content with one's own thoughts and company... Thousands
have had such dreams, but Dick Proenneke lived them. He found a
place, built a cabin, and stayed to become part of the country. One
Man's Wilderness is a simple account of the day-to-day explorations
and activities he carried out alone, and the constant chain of
nature's events that kept him company. From Dick's journals, and
with firsthand knowledge of his subject and the setting, Sam Keith
has woven a tribute to a man who carved his masterpiece out of the
beyond.

Will Ferrell stars in this parody of a 1970s Mexican telenovela
B-movie, complete with intentional continuity errors, bad acting
and dodgy edits. Black sheep of the family Armando Alvarez
(Ferrell) welcomes the return to the family ranch of his prodigal
younger brother Raul (Diego Luna), but is jealous of Raul's
beautiful fiancée Sonia (Genesis Rodriquez). As he struggles to
come to terms with his own feelings for Sonia, he must face a more
pressing threat in the form of Mexico's most feared drug lord, Onza
(Gael Garcia Bernal), who has set his sights on the ranch.
If you love your tools, want to understand them, look after them,
own the very best, and use them effectively, then this is the book
for you. A complete visual guide featuring more than 800 images,
and a foreword from Nick Offerman, The Tool Book pays homage to
generations of craftsmanship, ingenuity, and know-how. It looks at
tools from every angle, so you can understand the structure and
make-up of your trusted tool, and includes illustrations of tools
in action. Gallery pages display different types of hammer, spade,
or chisel, and there's expert advice on what to look for when
choosing a tool. Clear step-by-step photography walks you through
how to use your tools like a pro, while easy-to-use charts provide
tips on how best to care for them. The Tool Book explores, in
loving detail, why each tool is the right tool for the job, and why
it deserves pride of place in your tool shed, workshop, or studio.
When it comes to growing a robust mustache, masticating red meat,
building a chair, or wooing a woman, who better to educate you than
the always charming, always manly Nick Offerman, best known as
"Parks and Recreation"'s Ron Swanson? Combining his trademark comic
voice and very real expertise in carpentry, "Paddle Your Own Canoe
"features tales from Offerman's childhood (born, literally, in the
middle of an Illinois cornfield) to his theater days in Chicago to
the, frankly, magnificent seduction of his wife, Megan Mullally.
Offerman also shares his hard-bitten battle strategies in the
arenas of manliness, love, styles, and religion, and invaluable
advice on getting the utmost pleasure out of woodworking, assorted
meats, outdoor recreations, and other palatable entrees.
