'An entertaining first-hand account of pure rock 'n' roll madness.'
The Daily Telegraph 'Hundreds of exclusive photos and brilliant
one-liners make for a sensational read.' the Sun 'We are the
biggest band in Britain of all time, ever. The funny thing is, all
that fucking mouthing off three years ago about how we were going
to be the biggest band in the world - we actually went and did it.'
Noel Gallagher Oasis are one of the biggest bands the world has
ever seen. Here, in Supersonic, they tell the story of their
beginnings from dive-bar hopefuls to global superstars. They
themselves talk us through the pivotal moments in their phenomenal
trajectory, from the day Noel Gallagher joined his brother Liam's
band, through their first crucial five years culminating at their
landmark gigs at Knebworth Park in 1996 - the pinnacle of their
success. With over thirty hours of interviews with Liam, Noel and
those closest to them, this book documents in unprecedented depth
and with their trademark candour and humour, the story behind one
of the world's greatest bands, all told in their own words and
fully illustrated with exclusive photographs and ephemera
throughout.
(Guitar Recorded Versions). This guitar tab book includes 27 songs
matching the Oasis singles collection of the same name. The
first-ever "best of" collection by Oasis, it includes all of the
band's UK singles, eight of which went to number one on the charts.
Also includes "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" and the classic "Whatever,"
neither of which have previously appeared in Oasis folios. A must
for any guitarist and Oasis fan
In October 1995, Oasis unleashed their second set of killer tunes
with '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' The album took the charts
by storm and became the focal point in the phenomenon now known as
Britpop. With the use of archive footage, long-forgotten videos and
contributions from those around at the time, this documentary
uncovers why the band's second album is arguably their most
satisfying.
Documentary profile of the Manchester band who rapidly became the
flagbearers for the 'Britpop' movement of the 1990s. As well as
charting their music and career from the early days, through to
their current status as national icons, there's also an in depth
look at their highpoint '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' album.
Sizzling hot babes and mythical looks of the
impossible..........gyrating in an entirely clever brush with the
availing sojourn, the give in enjoyment and passionate
danger........what have you got there Oasis, communication and
boughs laden with the souls of the lost, the searching, the proper
and the meager equity in a revolution.

Documentary about the career of Britpop band Oasis. Growing up on a
Manchester council estate, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher started
their journey as Oasis in 1991. They hit the peak of their fame in 1996
as they played their home ground of Manchester City and two consecutive
nights at Knebworth.
The band went on to become one of the most successful acts of the time,
achieving seven number one albums and 24 top ten singles. Throughout
their career the band found themselves the subject of many
controversies including several legal battles over plagiarism as well
as being outspoken about their views on politics and the media. After a
very public split in 2009 the brothers went their separate ways leaving
behind hours of footage put together in this documentary by director
Mat Whitecross.
(Workbook to accompany UBM ministry lab) Yahweh created some very
unusual methods to enact His desires in creation. Unusual to us,
that is. Of course, Yahweh does not need any of these unusual
methods from His people in order to accomplish the task. Yet He has
chosen to involve His people in these works. All too often we
choose not to participate. Some methods are left to the shepherds
to perform, thinking there is no role for the flock. Some methods
have been abandoned by shepherds, leaving the flock ignorant of its
participation. Some methods are simply too unusual for us to feel
comfortable participating in. This lab seeks to recover the idea
that Yahweh wants all of His people to participate in the methods
He has chosen to accomplish His works. To some degree these methods
are certainly unusual, but they should not be uncommon. Using the
laboratory equipping philosophy, we hope to mobilize you into
making Yahweh's unusual methods a common part of your everyday
life.
