The Sorcerer of Haltung is a very interesting story of a young lady, Martha (Mart) Taylor who is the star basketball player at her high school. However, she is unduly selfish and thinks that the world revolves around her. Mart has an automobile accident and gets a mild concussion. And while she is under observation in the hospital, she has a dream in which she is called to a faraway country on a mission. She meets the Ruler of Haltung and he informs her that she is there on a mission to find something. She ask him and others to tell her what she is to find, but is told that will be revealed to her as she continues her search. Haltung is a German word that means "attitude." So she is there to discover the significance of a good attitude. The book is written in playwright format so that the characters take on real-life significance, the dialogues unfold more naturally and make the book more interesting to read.
America (A Profile of Justice) is an interesting story about people who live isolated and hidden East of the Sunken Island, Atlantis. They idolize the American way of life and patterned their way of life after that of the United States. In order to obtain first hand information, they learn that an expedition of one hundred twenty Americans is flying near their borders and divise a plan to lure them to their shores. These people have formed what they call the Union of Nations. They own slaves and are considering the abolition of slavery and want input from the Americans of the expedition. The book is written in playwright format to make the plots and dialogues of the story unfold more naturally and the book more interesting to read.
Pinch Hit is a very interesting account about identical twin sisters, Juliette and Julia. Both are very bright, but Juliette is the smarter of the two. Julia, the first born, argues that since she was born first, she should have been named Juliette. Consequently, that's why Juliette is the smarter of the two. Their parents are grossly disappointed that such disharmony exists between them. However, their father predicts that fate will resolve the issue and the two sisters will find peace in their sisterhood. Julia is diagnosed with an incurable disease and finds Juliette and requests that she (Juliette) takes her place as wife for her husband and mother for her girls-Thus, the name: "Pinch Hit." This book is written in playright format to make it (the Book) more interesting to read and to allow the incidents and dialogue of the Book to unfold more naturally.
Dead End is an interesting account of two men whose wayward behavior led them to Dead Ends. However, rather than letting the Dead Ends result in a life of tragedy, both men used the experiences that led them there to become good and productive citizens. Moreover, they inspired many who were on their way to Dead Ends to change.
