Mit dies em Buch soli weder ein neues, liickenloses Lehrbuch der Krankheitsbilder der Neurologie gegeben, noch versucht werden, die pathologischen, pathophysiologischen und atio- logischen Grundlagen neurologischer Erkrankungen aus- fiihrlich und erschopfend darzulegen. Ais Basistext der Klinischen Neurologie versteht sich dieses Bandchen viel- mehr als eine Propadeutik und als Anweisung zur neuro- logischen Untersuchung, d.h. als Anleitung zur Diagnostik. Wenn dabei immer wieder auf Krankheitsbilder verwiesen wird, wenn in einem eigenen Kapitel soIehe auch be- sprochen werden, so geschah dies bewuBt in einer Auswahl und nicht vollstandig.
