This novel has a rich ornate tapestry and legacy and yet unusual
regarding the original Demon's Gate epic. There are several issues
that started with the original story that led to the Demon's Gate
series as a Trilogy. These stories were entertaining to read the
novels and provide a sense that the characters dealt within a
constantly changing future in a complex biased environment. And yet
the characters would somehow survive by virtue of their character
in a realistic geo-political world wrapped with great doubt. As an
author, we use each character to balance their actions within the
flow of the main story plot. Some writers claim that characters
start taking over the story on their own and you will find that the
plot can possibly change with each event. This is absolutely true.
You can create an author's character that is nice while in others
the characters have human frailties and limitations. One reader
mentioned about the main characters in 'The Demon's Gate'. She was
surprised where one man seemed to be a real rat but turned out to
be a good guy while the nice individual had a nasty background that
he preferred secret. The secret was that he took part in genocide
while fate seemed to have changed both personalities of these
characters completely around. As the author, I did not realize this
at all until mentioned to me. I had unconsciously acted using these
characters to alter the reader's perceptions regarding the
character's predictability. This predictability easily revealed how
characters can demonstrate their control of a plot. To add spice to
the story, you can include aliens with entirely unexpected social
behavioral patterns where you can explore these opportunities in
any way you wish to your content. Obviously we do not have a
reasonable guidepost to discuss the behavior of aliens. The thrill
of any writer, however, is to mesmerize the reader as well as keep
the intrigue flowing. It is unfortunate that you would look at the
end of a novel and find the plot where the writer has to create
some closure only to end the story. That unfortunately for a writer
is a tragedy. This story starts with the sudden disappearances of
people around the world. Basically there is no logic or obvious
reason for these disappearances. If anything, no one has any
inkling about why they vanished; however, there is some possible
connectivity between some of these individuals. Mars is the center
of an ambitious man that has the gift of easily accepting people's
faith by virtue of his personality. He used his faith and belief to
develop a cult and create a costly facility to propagate the
strength of his theological beliefs. The problem is that the man
uses a Timer that survived from the War of the Orbital Rings; he
lasted for over a century. Timers escaped during the War to use
escape pods that went back into time. Some of these included UFOs
in Roswell as well as a UFO in the Ukraine, pre-wartime Germany and
elsewhere. Here, the Timer provides the religious man with some
unusual technology. Clearly every man that achieves success and
despite his character and ego, there are sometimes limitations and
the common fragilities of each man. While Aram's family look for
these missing people from Heaven to Hell, the religious man seeks
to have planned disasters to predict and create havoc using these
notions to blackmail the realm of Martian citizenry. This becomes
the center between the struggle of right versus wrong and leads to
unexpected problems when these two diverse paths eventually cross
and intersect.
Life is hard especially to survive through the night. The world is
full of unjust cruelties and harsh realities. One amongst those
insensitive realities is a stranger that lives solely by his own
rules. His narrow-minded wisdom lacks conscience and he is strongly
motivated to commit a crime. Driven only by his own selfish
pleasures, he tries to capture his lost youth. With no respect for
understanding personal suffering or legal punishment, his imagery
is beyond any bounds despite his responsibilities that anchor his
own family. And yet does he commit the perfect crime? If he
violates a crime, should he not suffer punishment to pay the
consequences of the victim's suffer, their family, or even the
scales of the justice system? No, he will survive. Even if he
convicts, he has solved the perfect crime despite what happens to
him. He will win regardless, even if required to request an
insanity plea. Willingly he would pay the price to survive and to
win. All is clearly planned. Ironically, however, there may be a
force to pay for a far more dangerous outcome. This man travels
along an uneasy crossroad guided toward an unexpected path. What is
the feeling of the victim and family? Everything in the father's
life is successful while achieving career, family, or other values
until this unforeseen random event that would burden his life. The
stranger did this and changed everything. Admittedly, the victim
has his own imperfections and flaws. He lives amongst lost
fragments from a malevolent forgotten memory. The crime forces him
to remember and relive a distasteful part of his own life. His
memory and destiny must force-fit the selfsame missing pieces
together regardless of how painful the penalty might be. He too has
to alter his own life and his future. Everything will forever
change these unexpected events because the stranger lives within
the dark side of the tiger...
There are many influences in this world that want but one simple
thing. It may sound trivial but that is something that we cannot
touch or feel or really know much about. That is, power over each
of us. Control is an insatiable hunger borne deep within the human
spirit. This is a strange thing to say but it is true. This is a
story about many people who played a part in life to understand how
individuals try to manipulate you. A mother wants to control her
son, a wife wants to control her husband and children, a boss wants
to control his subordinates, and a priest may want to control his
congregation. Of these, a father's desire to control a son could be
the most treacherous of all. Some of these influences are
intentionally good as well as bad. This is not to say these people
are all evil but some of their purposes may not be as pure as one
should assume. We need to look at these considerations very
carefully. Alas, we may unfortunately lack the wisdom to fully
grasp an unsuitable role model and think that this is normal. I am
an Armenian. I had to understand how people acted to me as a child.
This was something where people did not act proud about, because of
historic events which did not achieve closure resulting in an
unjust situation. When you grew up, you accepted this mentality
because you were helpless against anything that happened bad to
you. Moreover, when you went to work and lost a job, this was a
familiar trend that seemed to become karma. Others taking away life
and death meant nothing and no one cares. Is this the way society
should be or can we change this mentality to offer light against
this darkness and step out into the sunlight? The answer is yes but
it is a long tortuous journey. When I was in the Army I went to
war. Many decades later I served toward the end of my career in
four wars at the Pentagon. No, I was not a hero. No, I did not
receive acknowledgment for my achievements. I just did the best I
could. I did what I was supposed to do. I did not have a clear
understanding of what these wars were about although there was a
grain of morality in each war. Without a doubt, my belief is that
all of these wars were situations that prevented the strong from
killing the weak. In my existence, I had to understand my own
history as an Armenian. I learned some things about genocide. That
is: Genocide has no conscience. Genocide has no morality, it has no
memory. Genocide has no ethics or culture, it has very little
history. Genocide takes advantage of innocence by cheapening the
cost of human life. Basically genocide has no soul and is an evil
avenue used to exercise hatred where a minority can be eliminated
with some semblance of legality. Genocide killed Armenians, the
holocaust killed Jews, Poles, and gypsies. The killing fields of
Indochina killed Cambodians. The Rwandan genocide devoured 125,000
people in just over a single weekend, the Serbs killed Bosnians,
and the Sudanese have killed Africans in Darfur. Genocide does not
discriminate based upon religion; it swallows whole Christian
Armenians, European Jews, Cambodian Buddhists, Bosnian Moslems, and
those with no religious preference. Genocide knows no color; it
devours whites, yellows, or blacks. Genocide is mindless; it
devours the educated and uneducated. It thrives on ignorance and if
it is not recognized for what it really is will continue to
propagate because those that perpetrate it will realize they will
not be held responsible for their actions. If it is not stopped, it
will continue. Who will be next? Are these new victims the Turkish
and Iraqi Kurds who want their own nation or is Africa ready to
shed some more blood and tears? With these thoughts, stop for a
moment and think about it. Consider how you, as a human being, can
interact as a single human being. Now consider your influence in
the greater expand of society. Do you have the courage to do this?
Who is the crazy man hiding in your basement?
This revised novel is a science fiction classic. Through their
'Middle Kingdom' mindset, the Chinese used betrayal and surrogates
to marginalize America's military power. The Chinese quickly
advanced in technologies and essentially own the World's resources
to include space from the Space Station, surveillance satellites,
to fleets of Space Shuttle craft. Something unusual occurs at an
obscure station on the far side of the Moon while exploiting
discoveries. The Chinese feel they can deal with aliens as the
primary intercessor for all of mankind. Although their intentions
may be of the highest morality, they are deadly wrong dealing in
this situation and it leads where all dreams for mankind may
disastrously end...
Those involved in 'The Demon's Gate' once on the far side of the
Moon are brought together to resolve a more complex issue that may
have no solution. The Fifth Reich in the future is reborn and alive
in South America. A 'Timer' or time traveler that was captured for
over a century and held hostage since World War II, is still under
their control developing alien technologies. The Reich in Uruguay
and Argentina is expanding and challenging the Chinese by
exploiting these new technologies especially the Nazi Bell, lasers,
modern missilery, and other new devices. Part of their political
strategy includes refloating the Graf Spee as a memorial for their
historical achievements and will lead initially through all of
South America expanding their strategy to cover the rest of the
world. They gladly challenge the Chinese super power as a
stepping-stone. Much damage will exist and cover problems worldwide
unless if they are eventually stopped...
In the beginning, there was a man and a woman. Only they flourished
with a very thin thread of human spirit that may support what
appears to maintain a fragile equilibrium within the world. But now
in the end, there could be nothing but devastation. The year is
2050. China is still trying to demonstrate the superiority of its
Middle Kingdom mentality to achieve becoming the world's sole super
power. Within the Chinese leadership, China would egotistically
strive to become the sole instrument of mankind's relevance. But
the world is not perfect. There are many demons that prowl over the
surface of the Earth spreading their evil. Only the pure of heart
or a very rare soul could withstand and defeat this evil. These
mischievous imps can play havoc in the human lives that they
molest. Moreover, some humans are very prideful that they believe
they can set and define the destinies of lesser men, solely based
upon their own wishes and their own hidden agendas to create
wholesale disaster. One such individual would humble China and
possibly all of mankind. Despite this, there are still those that
are connected in some spiritual fashion, separated only by the
spiral of space and time, where they could achieve greatness in the
classical battle of good versus evil. Appearances are deceptive
wearing a false but opaque mask never revealing reality or true
intentions. Simple human events could induce such karma that can
affect those far larger cosmic events, events measured only on a
human scale that could include annihilation of everything that we
know of or would believe. Will mankind triumph or will mankind
falter? And what is the price that would be paid for failure? You
can lose your job, your car, your house, and your family. But what
if you lose your world? Such decisions may be decided not by
consensus but by only a few troubled minds that are lost within the
cosmic realm of things real and unreal...
It is the year 2055. So far Valence was living in a happy
existence. Life is content with the start of the Valence's family
and his own life; he only depends upon his own destiny. A sudden
thunderstorm changes his calm life. If he does not change his new
destiny, the consequences can create disaster that might impact
humanity. The problem reappears about issues concerning the aliens
that survived during the "War of the Orbital Rings." Some of these
aliens escaped during the war by going back into the past on the
Earth; however, their survival meant that these aliens would be
trapped living amongst mankind. Why would these events be so
crucial? These beings escaped, hid, and lived in specific ethnic
and national societies throughout the Earth for numerous decades;
some may have gone back a century. Most have been transparent to
mankind. However, with others, they created contributions that
allowed certain nations to gain advanced technologies to achieve
economical or military gain. Valence several years ago exposed just
such an alien who developed game-changing technologies while
operating in South America. The alien operated as a trapped slave
to a rouge group of Nazis for almost a century. These Nazis wanted
to erect and build their political ambitions by using asymmetric
technologies with devastating weapons. This would recreate their
own political identity throughout South America to take advantage
of this timer by exploiting and harvesting his intellect. Luckily
through Valence, this notion and political ambitions failed and
were destroyed. Valence may not have many friends and he needs to
protect himself from the "Watchers." Can he fulfill the need for
the new challenges to meet humanity and survive mankind? Has he
learned any unusual wisdom based upon his search while seeking the
simple light? Will he understand what the real danger is if he
meets worldwide aliens that might desire to build a hidden empire
and create their own political existence? If you do not understand
the ambitions of these aliens, they may destroy a thin thread to
save humanity. It transcends the triviality of nations such as
China, Russia or America to rival amongst each other to become
their own nation that leads to evolve into a new creativity. The
spiral of space and time to find these dangerous timers may provide
some unexpected irony that distorts mankind's wishes.
