BOOK SUMMARYWhat Ever Happened to Ratsy Patsy? is a collection of true happenings in the lives of Patricia, her husband, her children and their children. Some of these stories are actually life and death situations from which Almighty God spared those involved. Some stories are heart rendering, some are like watching a thriller on television, and some will make you smile and laugh. Enjoy AUTHOR BIOPatricia F. Thomas was born in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania in March 1936. Her love of reading and writing began in school and continues to this day. When she was a Reading Aide a number of years ago at a local grade school teaching second and third graders, she wrote several stories for the kids. She and the children also wrote a fun Christmas play with each child having a part using hand puppets sewn by her Sister, Sharon. They presented the play for the Principal of the school and he thought it was wonderful. Patricia firmly believes education is the key to a strong foundation for life. She especially believes reading and the comprehension thereof is of the utmost importance. Her favorite past-time is, of course, reading.Patricia and her family relocated to California in the early 60's for her health and their son's health concerns. It has been a great adventure living on the west coast. Although Patricia is 74, she still works full time as an administrative assistant for a local architectural firm.Patricia has a husband, two sons, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She believes having this book published will hopefully bring enlightenment, understanding and appreciation for all God does for His children.

The last time the elephant sneezed, he blew monkeys out of the trees, stripes off the zebra, and spots off the leopard. This rollicking new edition of the favorite nonsense verse again shows the panic that follows the elephant's dreaded announcement.

Danger lurks at every turn for Katie Greer. Having escaped death in the past, Katie Greer has taken residence in a New Hampshire town where life appears idyllic, but is far from it. Teaching tangled doodling classes in her art studio allows Katie to reach out to people who require a semblance of peace and tranquility in their lives. If only she could maintain those two things for herself, Katie would be completely happy. After finding the dead body of the town's infamous, and most mean spirited, gossip frozen on the bench outside her Tangled Wings Studio, Katie realizes her efforts to hide her true identity and live a normal life are for naught. As the prime suspect of ruggedly handsome Detective Jonah Kilbride, Katie searches for the killer in order to prove her own innocence. Much to her dismay, Katie's attraction for the relentless detective steadily grows, despite their continuous battles. Past events threaten Katie at every turn, catching her unaware, and creating havoc in a life she's desperately tried to establish in the town where she'd briefly found happiness. Can she survive or will she become the next victim on the killer's list before she can reveal their identity?

This book examines the advertising posters, town plans and geographical views that encouraged middle-class emigration to New Zealand in the 1840s. It explores how the New Zealand Company exploited visual literacy to advertise its settlement in Te Whanganui a Tara Wellington. A tale of two towns, prospective English settlers looked to Wellington to make their homes, while Te Whanganui a Tara was already home to numerous Maori sub-tribes. The book explores the worlds of each to ask how the images produced by the New Zealand Company were complicit in transferring Maori land into English ownership. Not seeking blame, it works instead to understand, and investigates processes of redress, offering hope for a post post-colonial future in Aotearoa New Zealand. This book will interest scholars and students of migration, visual culture and print history.
