The idea for this book is at least 40 years old and coincides with an Astronomy class taken at the University of Texas at El Paso with Prof Harold Slusher. It took these many years later to bring the idea to fruition. The back cover blurb reads: This is a fantasy about a boy and a pony ripped violently into a Shangri-La Middle Eastern world that neither of them, due to genetic anomalies, could ever call home. I had a juvenile male in mind when I wrote it but I have no objection to any reader regardless of age or gender. I apologize in advance for any errors in translation from the Arabic language.
