Bounce, laugh, and play along with two outrageous English queens.
Meet Queen Gwyneth Geranium Gardenia and Queen Camilla Carnation
Chrysanthemum. In their stories, the two zany queens do outrageous
things getting them into silly predicaments. Join the queens in
their first book, "My Hair." Queen Gwyneth has a dilemma. The
characters from the castle try to help solve the problem. Some
succeed and others fail. However, with failure, we learn. Read the
book and find out what the queens have learned.
This is Paul Richmond's third book, published by Human Error
Publishing. The pieces are rich in imagery, humor and metaphor.
Having forgotten how to use imagination, twelve-year old Lindy
Cooper has also forgotten her imaginary friend and protector,
Princess Twilight, who, lost in a dark void of forgotten memories,
waits for her creator to find her. Lindy discovers a mighty stone
fortress in the clouds where she meets its Lord Keeper, begins an
exciting quest to find a lost Golden child, rides a cloud traveler
across a magical starfield, and teaches a dragon hatchling to fly.
Paul Richmond has published a glossy-covered little book of
irreverent, funny poems. He calls them "stories," and they are that
too, most with a moral, or a peek into we all would be seconds if
we were merchandise. He writes in a really loose,
train-of-consciousness style that is easy to follow, inexplicably
hilarious, and reminds me of Ginsberg and Beat poetry. The book is
R-rated. Jonathan von Ranson Quirky stories & revealing
surprises abound here. Short and packed with meaning, these are
stories to be savored. One can almost see them as performance
pieces. Protest art. Surreal emotional moments. Paradoxical
portraits. This author has a strong and unique voice. Great collage
art on the covers. A rare book, worth seeking out. As the author
states, "The secrets that are revealed in this book will change
everyone's life around you. Unfortunately you have to change your
own life." VisionWorks - Dick Mcleester The first time I saw Paul
Richmond, I was a judge for a poetry competition for the Florence
Poets Society. There were a lot of great poems that day, also many
pretty awful ones. As soon as I saw Paul, I knew something was up
with this guy. He had a "look' to him like I was really in for
something. One of those funny glowing aura things you see around an
intensely creative person. Well I was right. His words were
awesome, his delivery a beautiful thing, and he made me think about
things while making me laugh heartily at the same time. I
immediately bought his book and had him sign it and have been a
huge fan ever since. Pick up a copy of everything this guy has ever
written, I promise you will not be disappointed To see him perform
live is an absolutely wonderful experience also. Peter Smolenski -

There is so much more to teaching today than simply "teaching."
Prepping for multiple courses, grading papers, duties, coaching,
class advising, lack of parental support, limited administrative
support, etc. These distractions make it more and more difficult to
find the time to sustain a level of creativity in the classroom.
Everyone could use a playbook. Something to refer to that provides
that specific "spark" or research that can enhance the classroom
experience. This book will provide you with ways to deliver
curriculum, not organize it. The best material in the world is
often ignored by students because of the method it is delivered.
You may even discover that after reading and implementing ideas
from this book, you will begin to surprise yourself with additional
ideas of your own.
