Traditionally, Wagnerian scholarship has always treated the Ring
and Parsifal as two separate works. The Redeemer Reborn: Parsifal
as the Fifth Opera of Wagner's Ring shows how Parsifal is in fact
actually the fifth opera of the Ring. Schofield explains in detail
how these five musical dramas portray a single, unbroken story
which begins at the start of Das Rheingold when Wotan breaks a
branch from the World Ash-tree and Alberich steals the gold of the
Rhine, thus separating Spear and Grail, and ends with the reunion
of the Spear and Grail in the temple of Monsalvat at the end of
Parsifal. Schofield explains how and why the four main characters
of the Ring are reborn in the opera Parsifal, needing to complete
in Parsifal the spiritual journey begun in the Ring. He also shows
how the redemption that is not attained in the process of the Ring
is finally realized in the events of Parsifal.
Reassuring and nurturing, this book is the perfect way to remind your little one how much you love them whilst you are at work.
Emotive and gentle, When Daddy Goes to Work introduces the concept of work to babies and toddlers through rhyming text. It also offers parents the ideal talking point for conveying their own feelings about going to work and routine in a reassuring and nurturing manner. Beautiful artwork reminiscent of bestsellers Guess How Much I Love You and Dogger draws parallels between the activities of the child and parent throughout the day. This is the ideal gift book for anyone who is returning to work after the birth of a new child.
That we owe duties to others is a commonplace, the subject of
countless philosophical treatises and monographs. Morality is
interpersonal and other-directed, many claim. But what of what we
owe ourselves? In Duty to Self, Paul Schofield flips the paradigm
of interpersonal morality by arguing that there are moral duties we
owe ourselves, and that in light of this, philosophers need to
significantly rethink many of their views about practical reason,
moral psychology, politics, and moral emotions. Among these views
is the idea that divisions within a person's life enable her to
relate to herself second-personally-that is, as though she were
relating to a distinct other person-in the way required by
morality. Further, there exist political duties owed to the self,
which the state may coerce persons to perform. This amounts to a
novel argument for paternalistic law, which appeals to
considerations of right, justice, and freedom in order to justify
coercing a person for their own sake-a liberal justification for an
idea typically thought to be deeply at odds with liberalism.
Schofield untangles how this view would impact various issues in
applied ethics and political philosophy, for example, financial
prudence and risk, the pursuit of the good life, and medical
ethics. Duty to Self is essential for anyone working in moral and
political philosophy or political theory.

Welcome to the sixth volume of "The Circle", a series of books
guiding the reader on a progressive path of spirituality.
Explanations of the why's and wherefore's of life's struggles are
given by a spirit communicator who gave the name of Chi. In Part
One of the book we ask for answers to many of Life's questions,
which Chi answers with a knowledge beyond human capacity. Chi then
proceeds to give guidance for spiritual progress in the form of
weekly readings, each of which forms a chapter in Part Two of the
book. The readings and answers to questions are given by Chi via
direct spiritual channeling through the medium Paul Hutton. The
Circle books are also available in digital form as the "Spiritual
Channeling" series.
Welcome to the eighth volume of "The Circle". Chi, a spirit
communicator and guide from the higher realms offers wisdom,
understanding, and progress in the practical and spiritual aspects
of life, to all who wish to read The communications were received
by spiritual channeling through the medium Paul Hutton in the form
of weekly readings, first recorded at a development circle and then
transcribed faithfully into printed books. Questions about life
were also asked during the readings and are shown in italics. The
Circle series is available in digital form under the title
"Spiritual Channeling".

Is the emotional state of a person ever affected by the colour of
the clothes that they wear? How can people develop the healing
ability? Many people on earth are afraid of something, can you tell
us what most people are most afraid of and how they could overcome
that fear? These are just some of the questions we asked Chi, a
spirit guide from the higher realms, and which are answered in The
Circle Book 4 through the mediumship of Paul Hutton. Here are a
couple of examples of the wisdom of Chi contained within the many
readings given in the book: "The hand of love is forever open to
those who can see and grasp, and I urge you all to take the hand of
friendship and reject the hand of disruption." "Wisdom and
knowledge are gained when love is the key factor in the lives of
all." "With great care I ask you to tend the gardens of your minds,
and to pick the flowers of abundant knowledge will be the reward
for your endeavours"...Also available as an e-book, "Spiritual
Channeling Book 4"
Is the whole future known to those in spirit, or is the whole
future presently unknown and depends on how everybody acts? Is it
true to say that on earth there is such a thing as a pure accident?
Do all dreams contain a message? Are there many unseen spirits on
earth? These are just some of the questions we asked Chi, a spirit
guide from the higher realms, and which are answered in The Circle
Book 3 through the mediumship of Paul Hutton. Here are examples of
the wisdom of Chi contained within the many readings given in the
book: "To tread lightly in your thoughts, to be unharsh in your
judgments, to give the gentle love to others and yourself will give
great strength and move forward your pathways into the beauty and
the gentle loving light that is there for you all." "You are
everything you become and you become everything you are." "There is
no fooling the inner self, the truth there is known."...Also
available as an e-book under the title "Spiritual Channeling Book
3"
Are there children in the spirit world? Is there such a thing as
the astral plane, and what relationship does it have to the earth
plane? Does everyone go firstly to the astral plane when they pass
on? If a person is terminally ill do you think it wrong for them to
end their own life? These are just some of the questions we asked
Chi, a spirit guide from the higher realms, and which are answered
in The Circle Book 2 through the mediumship of Paul Hutton. Here
are a couple of small examples of the wisdom of Chi contained
within the many readings given in the book: "Forgiveness is
important, it is important for you to forgive others, for sometimes
the full understanding of an action that is taken against you is
misunderstood. And in not forgiving others for hurt they cause you
means the hurt that you feel carries on." "A power beyond your
imaginations is within you to be found." ...The "Circle book 2" is
also available as an e-book under the title "Spiritual Channeling
Book 2"
The perfect board book for any parent working from home. Working
from home with a young child around can be tricky: toddlers love to
burst in on a video call, and Daddy would love to play, but has to
finish his work first. On the upside, there can be a kiss between
calls, and a sticky cuddle at lunchtime. When Daddy Works From Home
explores and celebrates some of these moments in a nurturing,
heartwarming manner. Following the success of When Mummy Goes to
Work and When Daddy Goes to Work, this is the ideal gift book for
anyone returning to work after parental leave, or adjusting to the
new normal of home-working. Also available: When Mummy Works From
Home.
