erlebt den Ramadan, studiert die Architektur und die islamische
Kunst und erz hlt von der Er ffnung des Suezkanals und seine
Auswirkungen auf das Verh ltnis von Europa und gypten. Mit einer
anschaulichen Mischung aus Tagebucheintr gen, Beobachtungen und
Reiseberichten f hrt der Autor durch Metropolen wie Kairo und
Jerusalem und l dt den Leser ein, ihm auf seine abenteuerliche
Expedition zu folgen. Paul Wilhelm Keppler, katholischer Theologe,
war Bischof von Rottenburg und Mitbegr nder des Deutschen
Caritasverbandes. Von seinen Schriften wurden ber eine halbe
