A science fiction romance novel When you save Time's tush-or its
version of one-it ought to cut you a break, not kick your tush some
where and some when. Though boo yah on providing a hot guy in
leather to pull that tush out of the impact crater that Ashesodid
not make despite the somewhat damning evidence to the contrary. So,
the sitrep: She's stuck on primitive planet Time Tracker suit down
Lurch (her nanite) unable to connect to any tech (see primitive
above) Surrounded by a bunch of buccaneer types who haven't been
around nubile, young women cause it's against their law The one guy
(Vidor Shan) she'd like to kiss on the mouth is off limits (time
rule) Someone gunning for Shan from somewhere in time And, oh yeah,
some really strange meteorites are making landfall in some very
strange ways. Seems Time has a new hobby: kicking Ashe (and shame
on It for doing it when she's down). Not that she plans to stay
down. Or give up the guy. Praise for Kicking Ashe: "KICKING ASHE by
award winning author Pauline Baird Jones is the final awesome book
in the Project Enterprise series...Fast paced suspense with just a
dash of romance, KICKING ASHE is the perfect ending to a favorite
sci/fi series." Single Titles "Whether you prefer straight science
fiction or like yours with a dash of romance, this is a very
enjoyable read." LASR-SFF "If you love science-fiction romance,
then you will want to read KICKING ASHE..." Romance Junkies "Jones
concludes her Project Universe series with this fun, fast-paced
tale. Ashe is a tough, no-frills heroine with plenty of spunk and a
lovable companion, her nanite Lurch, who steals the show with his
snark. Filled with plenty of humor and sexual tension, this quick
read is ideal for lovers of sci fi romance." RT Book Reviews "This
is a series of stories that I can see myself revisiting again in
the future when I want something fast paced and fun with strong
heroines and hunky heros, even if some of them are completely alien

Book Awards A science fiction/action adventure romance novel When
Sara Donovan joins Project Enterprise she finds out that what
doesn't kill her makes her stronger... An Air Force pilot - the
best of the best to be assigned to this mission - Sara isn't afraid
to travel far beyond the Milky Way on an assignment that takes her
into a galaxy torn apart by a long and bitter warfare between the
Dusan and the Gadi. After she's shot down and manages to land
safely on an inhospitable planet, Sara encounters Kiernan Fyn - a
seriously hot alien with a few secrets of his own - he's a member
of a resistance group called the Ojemba, lead by the mysterious and
ruthless Kalian. Together they must avoid capture, but can they
avoid their growing attraction to each other? A mysterious, hidden
city on the planet brings Sara closer to the answers she seeks -
about her baffling abilities and her mother's past. She has no idea
she's being pulled into the same danger her mother fled - the key
to a secret left behind by a lost civilization, the Garradians. The
Dusan and the Gadi want the key. So do the Ojemba. They think Sara
has it. They are willing to do anything to get it. Sara will have
to do anything to stop them... Praise for The Key: "This is a
series that is a keeper for me and I will enjoy reading them all
again. I did get The Key on Audible. I wasn't crazy about the
narrator at first but she grew on me. Or better... the story became
so engrossing I didn't notice any more That is a sign of a really
good story This is a great series for anyone who likes sci fi
action, like Star Trek or Galaxy Quest (funny movie ), with a
clean, warm, intergalactic romance." Reviews by Martha's Bookshelf
"From the beginning, action is non-stop and filled with suspense.
Sara is more than the quintessential kick-butt heroine. She is the
perfect warrior, a woman confident in her abilities in the air and
on the ground, and so loyal to her country that she is willing to
make personal sacrifices to ensure its safety. Peripheral
characters are well-developed and the plot so thrilling readers
will be reluctant to put the book aside. This sci-fi adds a nice
dose of romance and a touch of humor, placing it at the top of the
list for a danged good read." Midwest Book Review "Award winning
author Pauline Baird Jones has created a dynamic other worldly
story. Her characters are strong, well defined and interesting;
capturing the reader on the first page. Ms. Jones has given her
readers wonderful dialogue, adventure, humor, kick-butt action and
thrilling romance; all set in alien territories. So, slip into
another galaxy and revel in The Key by Pauline Baird Jones." Single

Doc-Delilah Oliver Clementyne's-orders are simple: do the
impossible and do it yesterday. A genius/bad ass, she does the
impossible on a regular basis. But this time the impossible is
complicated by an imminent war between the Earth expedition to the
Garradian Galaxy and the Gadi, an encounter with some wife-hunting
aliens, and not one buttwobands of time travelers. The only way it
could get worse? If the heart she didn't know she had starts
beating for the wrong guy... Praise for Girl Gone Nova: "I love the
adventure, the alien setting, the action and the humor of these
stories. Pauline sets up a believable time travel scenario with all
the paradoxes that should be expected. The characters are rich and
likable; even the pirate, bad boy Vidor, has engaging qualities.
The writing has a wonderful fast pace that fits the tale. This can
be read alone but it works much better if you read The Key first.:
Reviews by Martha's Bookshelf "Pauline Baird Jones has been one of
my favorite authors since I read her Eppie award-winning Out of
Time, a World War II time travel that truly captured the flavor of
that wartime era. I also read The Key, the exciting prequel to Girl
Gone Nova, and this book blows them both away. Like its
predecessor, Girl Gone Nova is set in the present day. With all its
twists and turns - enough to rival a West Virginia highway - Girl
Gone Nova is one of the most wildly unbelievable, yet believable
books I've ever read. It's simply one of the best sci-fi romances
ever written." Two Lips Reviews, Five Lips "Girl Gone Nova is an
action-filled science fiction treat Stuffed full of intrigue,
time-traveling, wisecracks and every girl's dream of love and
happily-ever-after, it's a sure-fire hit with any lover of the
genre. Ms. Jones has a talent for bringing unusual characters forth
and making them seem like 'one of the guys', it's a talent you're
sure to remember for a long time to come, as is her amazing novel,
Girl Gone Nova." Long and Short Romance Reviews "After a multiyear
absence, Baird Jones makes a very welcome return by once again
visiting the alternate reality first explored in The Key. Time
paradoxes run amok in this extraordinarily complex tale. Amongst
the densely packed and mind-bending action, there's also some
welcome humor. A spectacular ride " Romantic Times Magazine
A steampunk/science fiction novel. With all of time at risk, it's a
bad time to fall in love...unless it's the only time... Robert
Clementyne is going on a transmogrification machine hunt. He fears
finding the machine will be as difficult as pronouncing the name.
How can the steam-powered device perform as advertised, and how
useful can any information be, coming from a steampunk themed
bowling alley/museum? It's pretty crazy, but he's been there, done
that, and thinks he can handle it. And then he meets the
proprietor/curator...Emily Babcock. Emily grew up in crazy, still
lives in it-hey, it's her freaking zip code. So no worries when
Robert and his team walk into her bowling alley. The first
visitorseverto her museum. But neither of them is prepared for what
happens when they open the door to the past...and the future. With
a side trip through Roswell...and a face-to-face meeting with an
evil genius/wannabe-who is on his way to becoming evil
overlord-of-everything... Praise for Steamrolled: "Pauline is the
Queen of Steam Steamrolled is a wild adventure full of wit,
intrigue, and an evil overlord to boot. Every page was better than
the next " FirePages "Pauline B Jones has designed a rollicking
time traveling tale set in a deteriorating steam punk world that
will blow your mind. Crossing time, space and worlds with
technology from steam-run automatons and flying airships to nanites
that exist inside the body to help thought processes and healing,
STEAMROLLED is a must read for science fiction lovers." Single

A steampunk/science fiction romance novella. Colonel Carey (fromThe
KeyandGirl Gone Nova) takes a test "flight" through the Garradian
time-space portal, but an unexpected impact lands him somewhere and
somewhen. As he attempts to get to Area 51, he crosses paths with
Miss Olivia Carstairs, who could be Mary Poppins' twin sister. Or
maybe her cousin. Olivia's got a transmogrification machine powered
by steam and a mouth he'd like to kiss like it was his job. Can he
convince her to join forces before she shoots him with her
derringer? Praise for Tangled in Time: "Tangled in Time is a sweet
read in so many respects. Ms. Jones is a wonderful writer whose
well-written plots and likable characters always make for
absorbing, exciting reads - the great news about that being that
she has so many more characters from these first three books
awaiting their own stories. I just hope we don't have to wait too
long for the next one." Two Lips Reviews, 4 and 1/2 lips "This
story moves quickly with warm characters, sweet interaction and
quirky dialogue between a 1894 bluestocking girl and a 2010 soldier
guy. There is a bit of suspense and mystery that kept me wondering.
Again, this story could be read alone but has more meaning and
connection with the past characters and situations when read in
order in the series. I was sorry this one was so short and looked
forward to the next book " Reviews by Martha's Bookshelf "Tangled
in Time is a unique story in its self but also gives an added
glimpse of favorite characters from Ms. Jones' The Key and Girl
Gone Nova. The resulting humor when two people from different
centuries meet and their use of their own technical vocabulary is
delightfully portrayed. Well written plot, likable characters and a
little twist at the end enhance the entertainment factor and leaves
the reader wanting to know what will happen next. Please, don't
leave us dangling too long Ms. Jones "SingleTitles.com This edition
