While doing scientific work at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, a
fellow Spanish contacted Willy, a Peruvian student who is writing a
book about the poet and guerrilla Javier Heraud. Interested in the
story, the protagonist gradually learns the details of the process
that leads to a tragic end of this young revolutionary.
This is a short novel by science fiction, in which an aggressive
computer virus that is transmitted over the Internet affects the
behaviour of those who come into contact with it when working with
computers. No one knows its origin, although the authorities try to
control its spread, with some success at first. But the virus is
more dangerous than suspected, and things start to get complicated.

Biological cell membranes regulate the transfer of matter and
informa tion between the intracellular and extracellular
compartments as basic survival and maintenance functions for an
organism: This volume contains a series of reviews that are
concerned with how biological plasma membranes regulate the
transport of chloride between the intracellular and extracellular
compartments of a cell. This book is also an attempt to analyze the
molecular basis for the movement of chloride across a cell
membrane. This volume is devoted to a diversity of electrogenic
chloride transport mechanisms in representative cell membranes of
all living things. The first section of the book (Chaps. 1-4)
focuses on mech anisms of primary active chloride transport (i.e.
photon or A TP-driven), while the second section (Chaps. 5-6)
centers on secondary active chloride transporters (symport and
antiport) in both plant and animal plasma membranes. The last
section, which comprises seven chapters (Chaps. 7-13), deals with
chloride channels in cell membranes of prokaryocytes and
eukaryocytes of most every phylum. It is hoped that with this
particular ordering the reader can glean a telescopic view of the
evolutionary history of the various electrogenic chloride
transporters."

This is a developer's guide and is written in a style suitable to
professionals. The initial chapters cover the basic theory and
principles of Q replication and WebSphere MQ. As the book advances,
numerous real-world scenarios and examples are covered with
easy-to-understand code. The knowledge gained in these chapters
culminate in the Appendix, which contains step-by-step instructions
to set up various Q replication scenarios. If you are a
professional who needs to set up and administer a Q replication or
Event Publishing environment, then this is the book you need. The
book will give you a clear idea of how to implement Q replication
on z/OS whether you work on Linux, Unix, or Windows operating
system.
