Heading south looking for a warmer climate, Peggy ends up in New Mexico. The climate reminds her of Nigeria, Africa where she served as a missionary for six years. In New Mexico it was hot in the summer, and in the winter cold at night, but warmer during the day. Her love of animals results in interviewing the pets (via their owners) of the residents in the Retirement Center. She writes informative and amusing stories that will entertain the young and the old. Cancer is an unexpected turn which she hadn't considered. Having adopted two children in Newfoundland, Canada, Peggy returns to the States with her husband. In the back woods of northern Minnesota Peggy buys a forty-acre section of land where she clears a site near a wilderness pond. One day while she was working out in the woods it began to rain and she got the idea to build a tool shed. The tool shed ended up to be an eight by ten foot cabin in which she lived for a while. Friendship Cabin was built by her friends with rustic cedar siding and used windows. She didn't mind living without electricity or running water since she did without both in Africa, where she was a missionary for six years. The challenges of splitting wood, hauling drinking water from a neighbor and melting snow for washing up were met with determination. When deer, moose and even bear visited the pond regularly she was inspired to write delightful wild animal stories that the old and the young alike will enjoy. This tale is captivating and entertaining.

Based on a true story Peggy tells a tale that takes her from a broken home to an orphanage, but adoption gives her a new life. At the age of twelve everyone is waiting for the adoption to fail. Her faith in Jesus Christ, however, influences her decision to attend Bible collage after high school. There she hears about a possible missionary position in Africa. Teaching women in the villages of Nigeria with its challenges, trekking through the bush, and bringing the Good News to those who had never heard the message of the Gospel, was a call she couldn't ignore. Rumors of political unrest in the villages might prevent her from answering the call. Marriage took her to many places, such as Florida, Maine, and Newfoundland. She teaches school in a two room school house in an isolated village on the coast of Labrador along with her husband. Will her journey of hope lead to more adventures tests of faith?

Disney's animated tale of Lady, an aristocratic cocker spaniel, who runs away from home after falling foul of two siamese cats. She is befriended by Tramp, a down-at-heel but charming mutt. They set out for a night on the town together, and romance is soon in the air when they share a meal at a spaghetti restaurant. This was the first Disney cartoon film to be made in CinemaScope.

Adoption gives Peggy a new life. A loving family adopts her at the age of twelve and everyone is waiting for the adoption to fail. Accepting the Lord into her heart she decides to attend Bible College after high school where she hears of a possible position in Nigeria as a missionary. Later her way leads to Newfoundland & Labrador where she teaches in a two room school on the coast of Labrador. Her journey of hope gives her a deeper understanding of the needs of others.

Wally was born in 1938 in up-state New York near the headwaters of the Delaware River. He worked in the construction trades, and also worked as a minor in the tunnels for the construction of the Chicago subway system. When he found himself unemployed yet again, he headed to Minnesota looking for work. He always tried to do what was right, and put God first in his life. When C.O.P.D got the best of him he headed south to a drier, warmer climate.

Wally was born in 1938. He grew up in up-state New York where he worked in the building trades and later in Chicago helping to build the subway. His life took many dips and turns but he always put God first in his life. When he couldn't remain in the northern woods of Minnesota because of failing health he headed south to New Mexico to a warmer drier climate. This STORY contains many of Wally's thoughts and sentiments about what was going on in his life.
