Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer star in this
comedy drama written and directed by Diablo Cody. One year after
surviving a plane accident Lamb Mannerhelm (Hough) denounces God
while in church in front of the devout Christian congregation.
Determined to live the life she wants to live she leaves behind the
religious community she has been brought up in and travels to Las
Vegas, hoping to have some new experiences that are deemed sinful
in her home town. While there she befriends bartender William
(Brand) and singer Loray (Spencer) and they join her on her journey
of self-discovery.
The poignant true story of a Jewish family who hid in an attic for
two years before they were captured by the Nazis. The film follows
the life of celebrated diarist Anne Frank (Millie Perkins), as
remembered in hindsight by her father Otto (Joseph Schildkraut).
Shelley Winters won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, and the
film also garnered Oscars for Best Black and White Cinematography
and Best Art Direction, in addition to receiving a further five
nominations.

of Jason Segel), serial villain Gru (Steve Carell) hatches a plan
to steal the moon, aided by his army of genetically altered corn
pops. All goes according to plan until the arrival at his door of
three little orphan girls, Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Agnes (Elsie
Fisher) and Edith (Dana Gaier), in search of a father figure.
