businesses. Other SBA programs are described later, some of which
include disaster assistance, contracting programs and capital
investment programs. A program is also discussed which seeks to aid
small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically
disadvantaged individuals. This collection examines the SBAs budget
as well as recent developments and future trends. Economic research
is examined to identify which business models create the most jobs
and then analyzed for possible implications for Congress. The book
concludes by discussing bills introduced to amend the Small
Business Lending Fund.
