This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Applied Parallel Computing, PARA 2002, held in Espoo, Finland, in June 2002.The 50 revised full papers presented together with nine keynote lectures were carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in the proceedings.
