Post-war British comedy in which a soldier returns to his home village and the family tavern now at threat from an unscrupulous rival. When pub owner George Harper (George Formby) arrives back in Britain his first thought is to return to the village of Tumbleford and his pub, The Unicorn. Unfortunately for George, the manager of the village's other pub, The Lion, has taken advantage of his absence to steal his customers and even seems suspiciously close to George's childhood sweetheart, Mary (Rosalyn Boulter). Can George find a way to win back Mary and his customers?
1950s British drama directed by Montgomery Tully. The film follows a group of reporters and police officers as they pursue a network of foreign criminals in London in a bid to infiltrate a drugs ring. After a body is discovered in the River Thames, journalist Mike Billings (Robin Bailey) is assigned to investigate. When he discovers the deceased was an influential diplomat, Billings finds himself involved in a deep web of nefarious dealings and aligns himself with some fellow reporters and the police to try and solve the case.
Montgomery Tully directs this mystery drama starring Lex Barker as Peter Chance, a man who wakes from a car accident to find out he is the heir to two million dollars. With no recollection of his life before the accident, he becomes more and more suspicious of the women looking after him...
