This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the Third International Symposium on Data-Driven Process Discovery and Analysis held in Riva del Garda, Italy, in August 2013. The six revised full papers were carefully selected from 18 submissions. Following the event, authors were given the opportunity to improve their papers with the insights they gained from the symposium. The selected papers cover theoretical issues related to process representation, discovery and analysis or provide practical and operational experiences in process discovery and analysis.

Contributions submitted to the journal and dealing with semantics of data will be considered even if they are not within the topics in the list. While the physical appearanceof the journal issues looks like the books from the well-known Springer LNCS series, the mode of operation is that of a jo- nal. Contributions can be freely submitted by authors and are reviewed by the Editorial Board. Contributions may also be invited, and nevertheless carefully reviewed, as in the case for issues that contain extended versions of best papers from major conferences addressing data semantics issues. Special issues, foc- ing on a speci?c topic, are coordinated by guest editors once the proposal for a special issue is accepted by the Editorial Board. Finally, it is also possible that a journal issue be devoted to a single text. The journal published its ?rst volumein 2003(LNCS 2800),its secondvolume at the beginning of 2005(LNCS 3360), and its third volume in Summer 2005 (LNCS 3534). Volumes I, II and V are special issues composed of selected extended versions of best conference papers. Volume III is a special issue on Semantic-Based Geographical Infor- tion Systems, coordinated by guest editor Esteban Zim anyi.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 16th International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2016, held in Lugano, Switzerland, in June 2016. The 19 full research papers, 13 short papers, 3 vision papers, 11 demonstrations, 5 posters, 6 PhD Symposium and 4 tutorials presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 120 submissions. The 16th edition of ICWE accepted contributions related to different research areas revolving around Web engineering, including: Web application modelling and engineering, Human computation and crowdsourcing, Web applications composition and mashups, SocialWeb applications, SemanticWeb, and, for the first time, also the Web of Things.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 12th Extended Semantic Web Conference, ESWC 2014, held in Anissaras, Portoroz, Slovenia, in May/June 2015. The 43 revised full papers presented together with three invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 164 submissions. This program was completed by a demonstration and poster session, in which researchers had the chance to present their latest results and advances in the form of live demos. In addition, the PhD Symposium program included 12 contributions, selected out of 16 submissions.
