Phyllis Dolislager did an outstanding job describing a farm family
in the 50 s and 60 s. It was a joy to read. She did an excellent
job of illustrating the values and love enjoyed in growing up on a
farm. Reading this book makes one realize how farming has changed
in the last 50 years. She paid a wonderful tribute to her dad with
this book. He had high respect for his family, friends and
neighbors and showed it by serving as supervisor of our local
township. Jim McIntyre SUPERVISOR, COURTLAND TOWNSHIP, ROCKFORD,
