The book systematically introduces the design theory and method of
multi-band RF filtering circuits for the modern wireless
communication systems or radar systems, which are required to
operate at multi-bands. These multi-band filtering RF circuits have
drawn more and more attention from the engineers and scientists in
the field of RF circuits design. The book proposes the detailed
theoretical analysis and abundant experimental data of multi-mode
resonators, multi-band bandpass filter with high selectivity,
reflectionless multi-band bandpass filter, balanced filter with
high suppression, slotline based multi-band balun filter,
switchable filtering diplexer based on reused L-shape resonator and
miniaturized 55-/95-GHz on-chip dual-band bandpass Filter. The book
is intended for undergraduate and graduate students who are
interested in filtering circuits design, researchers who are
investigating RF & microwave systems, as well as design
engineers who are working in the RF & microwave circuits field.
Readers can get an in-depth understanding about the multi-band RF
filtering circuits design theory and method.

A pioneering study of historical developments that have shaped Asia
concludes with this volume tracing the impact of ideas and cultures
of people on the move across the continent, whether willingly or
not. In the final volume of Asia Inside Out, a stellar
interdisciplinary team of scholars considers the migration of
people-and the ideas, practices, and things they brought with
them-to show the ways in which itinerant groups have transformed
their culture and surroundings. Going beyond time and place, which
animated the first two books, this third one looks at human beings
on the move. Human movement from place to place across time
reinforces older connections while forging new ones. Erik Harms
turns to Vietnam to show that the notion of a homeland as a marked
geographic space can remain important even if that space is not
fixed in people's lived experience. Angela Leung traces how much of
East Asia was brought into a single medical sphere by traveling
practitioners. Seema Alavi shows that the British preoccupation
with the 1857 Indian Revolt allowed traders to turn the Omani
capital into a thriving arms emporium. James Pickett exposes the
darker side of mobility in a netherworld of refugees, political
prisoners, and hostages circulating from the southern Russian
Empire to the Indian subcontinent. Other authors trace the impact
of movement on religious art, ethnic foods, and sports spectacles.
By stepping outside familiar categories and standard narratives,
this remarkable series challenges us to rethink our conception of
Asia in complex and nuanced ways.
"Global tea science: Current status and future needs would suit the
library of any botanical enthusiast or academic, with its
comprehensive collection of relevant chapters. The humble tea leaf
has might roots indeed." (Plant Science Bulletin - Botanical
Society of America) Tea is the most widely-consumed beverage in the
world. Like other crops, tea cultivation faces a number of
challenges. With the challenge of climate change and the
competition for scarce resources, there is a need to make tea
cultivation more efficient and sustainable. Cultivation needs also
to be more resilient to biotic and abiotic stresses, whether it be
pests or more extreme weather (e.g. drought) associated with global
warming. Fortunately, there is a range of research addressing these
challenges. Drawing on an international range of expertise, this
collection summarises this research by focusing on ways of
improving the cultivation of tea at each step in the value chain,
from breeding through to harvest. Part 1 reviews advances in
breeding. Part 2 discusses improvements in cultivation techniques.
The book then discusses plant protection and chemistry before
concluding with sustainability issues. As the need for more
interdisciplinary and collaborative research increases, this
collection will be a standard reference for the tea research
community by summarising key research trends in each topic and
putting them in the context of tea cultivation as a whole.
This special volume collected important papers written by leading
experts, highlighting the latest research findings in various
topics of spin phenomena in particle and nuclear physics. The
contents are originated from the plenary talks at the latest
symposium of the Spin Physics series (SPIN2014) which was held in
Beijing, China, October 20-24, 2014.The volume also comprises a
special collection of contributions in memory of the late Professor
Michel Borghini, an outstanding physicist well remembered for his
great contributions to the progress of high energy spin physics.
