In virtually any armed conflict, there remains an individual or
individuals who cannot - or will not - surrender to capture by
legitimate public authority. Recognizing this reality, this study
explores the need for targeted killing of key personnel engaged
within the design and construction of undersea craft employed by
Latin American cartels to smuggle illicit narcotics and other
contraband towards the United States. Using network analysis,
empirical judgment, structured debate, and analysis of competing
hypotheses, this study concludes that present American strategy vis
a vis the Colombian cartels has failed to stem the flow of drugs
towards the U.S. and that targeted killing of key personnel engaged
within the narco-submarine networks represents the paradigm shift
required to regain strategic advantage in the war on drugs. A

For Christians, Heaven remains a reality, but a reality often
ignored under the pressures of modern, secular society. We would
rather worry about the troubles of today, the children, our
careers, and a multitude of fears rearing their ugly heads within
our lives. Heaven remains distant, assured, and, frankly,
confusing. Like life insurance, we shall prepare for it when we age
and can accept death on "our" terms. Unfortunately, we possess
absolutely no clue as to what awaits us within this world or the
next. What we "can" be assured of, however, is that Heaven demands
the ultimate price - a graceful life and a gracious death. "Of what
price is Heaven? "Far more than you can comprehend at the
present...
There used to be a time when human life held value. When entire
nations would go to war over a single injury or death. Then
politics became involved and slowly, over time, people took on the
value of the collective. No longer were humans viewed as individual
persons but, rather, as pawns "too stupid" to think for him or
herself. Life became a commodity and has been shown throughout the
world in places such as Bosnia, Darfur, and Rwanda, an extremely
cheap commodity at that. Over "one million" Tutsis and Hutus died
in genocides during 1972 and 1994, but "who" cared about blacks
killing blacks in Africa? Today, Christians are being murdered and
mutilated throughout the Middle East and Northern Africa, but "who"
cares about the faithful? Even Russia has presently violated the
sovereignty and territoriality of neighboring Ukraine, but "who"
cares about nationalistic squabbling? Add to this instability the
growing "clear and present danger" of Islamic jihadists and
narcotics trafficking organizations, but "who" cares about "your"
safety and survival? Frankly, "you" do. Time for you to go to war,
isn't it? This third edition of "Mini-Manual of the Independent
Counterterrorist" provides you with the inspiration, knowledge, and
tools required combating the Evil that threatens the world. All
that is truly needed to destroy the evil that men do remain one
fighting individual citizen at a time...
" For decades, corporate security has remained the somewhat
sinister stepchild of law enforcement, despite the relatively
recent invention of municipal police departments and uniformed
peace officers. Regardless, private security - that is, security
services provided by individual citizens or commercial businesses -
predate federal and municipal protective services by centuries. A
fundamental reason for this recent discrepancy in definition,
however, rests largely with the perception of the media and
municipal officials who suggest that both law enforcement and
private security remain relatively interchangeable. They are not;
law enforcement and security represent distinct disciplines with
their own terms, procedures, and responsibilities."
" Fourth-Generation Corporate Security: Asymmetrical Warfare for
Protective Services Professionals" discusses the challenges of
fourth-generation warfare (4GW) in the context of private security
operations throughout the world, including urban warfare, maritime,
and executive protection scenarios. Fourth-Generation Corporate
Security (4GCS) cannot be taught - it must be learned through
experience and intuition. Accordingly, this offering by R.J.
Godlewski provides the foundation upon which the security
professional can build his or her repertoire and arsenal in
combating the apparitional nature of asymmetrical conflicts.

"Libraries are filled with books on" the "Assassins, their
history, exploits, and even modern video gamers' infatuation with
the ancient cult. However, there remains little discussed on the
particular skill sets of "an" assassin - the modern terrorist,
hired killer, or transnational criminal that "you" are most likely
to encounter within the early decades of the 21st century..."
"In Hollywood, your typical 'assassin' represents a
breathtakingly beautiful woman or, perhaps, a beefed-up hunk with
just enough facial hair to drive women crazy. This violates the
first law of covert warfare: do "not" call unnecessary attention to
yourself..."
Bogdan "Back Flies" Doss has spent the past year sacrificing his
school studies in order to concentrate on his summer project -- a
weekend camping trip taken to new heights of originality aboard his
makeshift sloop SEA FLY. Unfortunately Bogdan and his fellow
'escapees from authority' find more than they bargained for when
the winds of Lake Superior cast them adrift into a destination that
they never learned about in school or ever imagined escaping from.
You are neither a fanatic nor an imbecile. You train, educate
yourself, and train again. Reading becomes an obsession for you and
your room remains cluttered with books on warfare, tactics, and
terrorism studies. You read because you understand that the
villains out there are a rather well read bunch themselves. If you
live in the city, you study urban warfare. If you live in the
country, you study jungle or forest warfare. Always, you learn
about first aid, survival, and technology, learning as much from
fiction as you do from non-fiction. Your motto: "To be better today
than you were yesterday and to be even better tomorrow." You are an
INDEPENDENT COUNTERTERRORIST and you mean BUSINESS.
