Religion in dialogue means stimulating encounters. How? The new
textbook for religious education pursues a
denominational-cooperative approach that repeatedly seeks dialogue
with other religions and worldviews. In this way, the diversity of
the student body and the reality of religious education are
optimally taken into account. Religion in Dialogue incorporates
evangelical and catholic perspectives throughout the materials and
assignments. At the same time, other religious and different
ideological perspectives are introduced. The focus is on lived
religion. This creates learning arrangements that invite people to
talk to each other and exchange ideas. In this way, the students
can see how different they are and where they might have something
in common. In concrete terms, "Religion in Dialogue" is
characterized by a wide range of stimulating materials and openly
formulated, application-related and methodologically varied tasks.
The book enables networked learning through appropriate references
to tasks and materials. The aim is to enable the students to work
as independently as possible. The textbook consists of seven
chapters: 1. Freedom and responsibility, 2. Faith without a
doubt?!, 3. All forgiven through Christ?, 4. Death - beginning or
end?, 5. How political can the church be?, 6 Responsibility of
religions 7. What gives meaning to my life? The volume is rounded
off by a method appendix. You can find the digital version of our
