About Book: This book is based on a scientific research study
conducted to determine the Comparative Effects of Bhramari and
Surya Bhedan Pranayama on Balance Abilities (static and dynamic).
Thirty students from Banaras Hindu University were selected as
subjects for this study. The age of the subjects ranged between
20-25 years. The subjects were divided into three groups i.e. Two
experimental groups (Surya Bhedan & Bhramari Pranayama) and one
control group. Static Balance and Dynamic Balance Abilities were
selected as Dependent variables and Surya Bhedan Pranayama and
Bhramari Pranayama were considered as Independent variables. In
order to find out the Comparative Effects of Bhramari Pranayama and
Surya Bhedan Pranayama on Balance Abilities (static and dynamic),
Descriptive Statistics and Analysis of Co-Variance (ANCOVA) were
used. Bhramari and Surya Bhedan Pranayama were found fructiferous
in bringing change in Static Balance Ability. But no significant
effect was found on Dynamic Balance Ability.
About Book: This book is based on a research study conducted with
the objective to Profile Indian Yogis of five different yogic

used at 0.5 level of significance.
About Book: This book contains the research based effects of
Prandharana and Tratak on coordinative abilities and physiological
variables of physical education students. Book is based on a
research study conducted on ninety male physical education
students. Co-ordinative abilities and Physiological Variables were
selected as Dependent Variables and Prandharana and Tratak were
considered as Independent Variables. Pre test - post test
randomized group design, which consists of one control group (n=30)
and two experimental groups (n=30 in each) was used. Equal numbers
of subjects were assigned randomly to the groups. Data were
analyzed by using ANCOVA. Significant difference was found among
the adjusted post test means of experimental groups and control
group in Orientation Ability, Differentiation Ability, Reaction
Ability, Balance Ability Vital Capacity, Positive Breath Holding
Capacity, & Negative Breath Holding Capacity. Insignificant
difference was found among the adjusted post test means of
experimental groups and control group in Rhythm Ability, Resting
Heart Rate, Systolic Blood Pressure & Diastolic Blood Pressure.
