This book describes the next generation of industry-Industry
4.0-and how it holds the promise of increased flexibility in
manufacturing, along with automation, better quality, and improved
productivity. The authors discuss how it thus enables companies to
cope with the challenges of producing increasingly individualized
products with a short lead-time to market and higher quality. The
authors posit that intelligent cloud services and resource sharing
play an important role in Industry 4.0 anticipated Fourth
Industrial Revolution. This book serves the different issues and
challenges in cloud resource management CRM techniques with proper
propped solution for IT organizations. The book features chapters
based on the characteristics of autonomic computing with its
applicability in CRM. Each chapter features the techniques and
analysis of each mechanism to make better resource management in
cloud.
Fog Computing: Concepts, Frameworks, and Applications is arranged
in such a way that readers with no prior experience in Fog
Computing may explore this domain. It is an accessible source of
information for distributed computing researchers as well as
professionals looking to improve their security and connectivity
understanding in Internet of Things (IoT) devices. This book is
also useful for researchers and professionals working in the field
of wireless communication security and privacy research. This book
is intended for students, professionals, researchers, and
developers who are working in or interested in the field of Fog
Computing. One of the book's distinguishing aspects is that it
covers a variety of case studies and future possibilities in the
field of Fog Computing. This book: Begins by covering the
fundamental notions of Fog Computing to help readers grasp the
technology, starting from the basics Explains Fog Computing
architecture as well as the convergence of Fog, IoT, and Cloud
Computing Provides an assessment of Fog Computing and its
applications in the field of IoT Discusses the usage of software
defined networking and machine learning algorithms as they apply to
Fog Computing Describes the different security and privacy issues
with Fog Computing and explores single point control systems for
consumer devices using Edge-Fog Computing Outlines in detail how to
leverage Blockchain technology in Fog Computing, as well as how to
use Fog Computing in telemedicine and healthcare applications
Examines the usage of communication protocols, simulation tools for
Fog Computing implementation, and case studies in the fields of
bioinformatics, disaster control, and IoT
A database management system (DBMS) is a collection of programs
that enable users to create and maintain a database; it also
consists of a collection of interrelated data and a set of programs
to access that data. Hence, a DBMS is a general-purpose software
system that facilitates the processes of defining, constructing,
and manipulating databases for various applications. The primary
goal of a DBMS is to provide an environment that is both convenient
and efficient to use in retrieving and storing database
information. It is an interface between the user of application
programs, on the one hand, and the database, on the other. The
objective of Database Management System: An Evolutionary Approach,
is to enable the learner to grasp a basic understanding of a DBMS,
its need, and its terminologies discern the difference between the
traditional file-based systems and a DBMS code while learning to
grasp theory in a practical way study provided examples and case
studies for better comprehension This book is intended to give
under- and postgraduate students a fundamental background in DBMSs.
The book follows an evolutionary learning approach that emphasizes
the basic concepts and builds a strong foundation to learn more
advanced topics including normalizations, normal forms, PL/SQL,
transactions, concurrency control, etc. This book also gives
detailed knowledge with a focus on entity-relationship (ER)
diagrams and their reductions into tables, with sufficient SQL
codes for a more practical understanding.
1) The book provides a basic understanding to readers who want to
start their career in web application development. The book
develops an understanding of the basics concepts and then takes a
broader turn to enlighten the readers about the horizons which can
be accessed using JavaScript. 2) JavaScript is exhaustively used in
almost all kinds of application development, be it the web
applications, cross platform mobile applications, server backend
applications. JavaScript is now being used for full stack
development and is thus used to write independent applications.
Since the need for JavaScript web developers is high, the numbers
of students should be high as well. 3) As compared to other books
in the market, the proposed book would cover more topics (or,
better, levels) in a single volume.

This book is a compilation of peer reviewed papers presented at
International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Data Science
Applications (MIDAS 2021), held in Comilla University, Cumilla,
Bangladesh during 26 - 27 December 2021. The book covers
applications in various fields like image processing, natural
language processing, computer vision, sentiment analysis, speech
and gesture analysis, etc. It also includes interdisciplinary
applications like legal, healthcare, smart society, cyber physical
system and smart agriculture, etc. The book is a good reference for
computer science engineers, lecturers/researchers in machine
intelligence discipline and engineering graduates.
This book addresses the key problems that computational
intelligence aims to solve, including (i) the involved
computational process might be too complex for mathematical
reasoning; (ii) it might contain some uncertainties during the
process, or (iii) by nature, the computational process is a
randomly determined one (heuristic). The contributors make use of
methods that are close to the human's way of reasoning, that is,
available information might be inexact or incomplete, yet it would
be able to produce controlled actions in an adaptive way.
Approaches presented in the book include swarm intelligence,
artificial immune systems, image processing, data mining, natural
language processing, text mining, and other solutions involving
artificial intelligence methodologies.
