Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Theologie - Praktische Theologie, Note: 1,0, Philipps-Universitat Marburg (Katholisches Seminar), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Fragestellung, unter der diese Arbeit zunachst stehen sollte, betraf die moralisch-ethische Legitimation der Organtransplantation, vor allem deren Beurteilung durch die christliche Ethik. Bei der Literaturrecherche und -aufbereitung zeigte sich jedoch recht schnell, dass sich weitaus mehr Problemfelder und ethische Fragen ergeben, als im Rahmen einer Seminararbeit behandelt werden konnen - eine Reduktion und Fokussierung auf einige zentrale Aspekte wird daher unumganglich sein. So wird der Problemkreis der Lebendorganspende nur gestreift, ebenso die Frage nach Zustimmungslosungen, die in den vergangenen Monaten fur neuen Zundstoff in der Debatte uber mangelnde Spendebereitschaft und fehlende Spenderorgane gesorgt hat. Einen grosseren Stellenwert wird hingegen die postmortale Organtransplantation einnehmen, wobei es sich durch die verschiedenen beteiligten Personen- und Interessengruppen ebenfalls um ein komplexes und vielschichtiges Thema handelt. Um die Thematik angemessen darzustellen, sollen zumindest grundlegende Fakten und aktuelle Daten zum Stand der modernen Transplantationsmedizin erwahnt werden, um einen Eindruck uber Chancen und Moglichkeiten operativer Verfahren in diesem Bereich zu schaffen. Da die vorliegende Arbeit das Thema Organtransplantation vor allem aus ethischer bzw. christlich-religioser Perspektive betrachtet, wird der medizinische sowie der rechtliche Hintergrund einbezogen, sofern er wesentliche Aspekte betrifft, die bei der Behandlung der Organspende-Problematik unbedingt berucksichtigt werden mussen.
