Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not
used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad
quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are
images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to
keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the
original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain
imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made
available for future generations to enjoy.

financial loss and short sale their home for a better future.
"The Political Name of Love" focuses on relations between Cuba and
the United States. U.S. foreign policies are exposed as hegemonic
and ultimately self-defeating; and at the terrible cost they cause
around the world. Cuba's socialist achievements are assessed in
relation to humanity's blind pursuit of growth, with its
unsustainable levels of environmental degradation. Fidel Castro's
critique of neo-liberal globalization and his alternative vision
are explored. From socialism and Liberation Theology to the
evolutionary vision of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, this book
emphasises our human responsibility and makes the case for
steady-state economics and human co-operation.
Renee Marie Smith, Esq., a nationally recognized entrepreneur,
attorney, and speaker, grew up in an entrepreneur household that
passed on mind-sets which positioned her to succeed. Those
mind-sets gave her the confidence to try new things, take chances,
and achieve extraordinary success, and she thinks about them every
day as she makes headway in her journey. In this business guide,
she shares nuggets of wisdom such as: - Nothing in life is achieved
without other people. We all have to surround ourselves with a
support network to achieve. - Avoid making choices from a linear
perspective based solely on your experiences. Find a viewpoint from
a customer, competitor or an unaffected third party to give a more
rounded perspective. - You can't separate life mind-sets from
business mind-sets. Who you are in private will be who you are in
your career/business as well.
St. Alphonsus writes: "a single bad book will be sufficient to
cause the destruction of a monastery." Pope Pius XII wrote in 1947
at the beatification of Blessed Maria Goretti: "There rises to Our
lips the cry of the Saviour: 'Woe to the world because of scandals
' (Matthew 18:7). Woe to those who consciously and deliberately
spread corruption-in novels, newspapers, magazines, theaters,
films, in a world of immodesty " We at St. Pius X Press are calling
for a crusade of good books. We want to restore 1,000 old Catholic
books to the market. We ask for your assistance and prayers. This
book is a photographic reprint of the original The original has
been inspected and many imperfections in the existing copy have
been corrected. At Saint Pius X Press our goal is to remain
faithful to the original in both photographic reproductions and in
textual reproductions that are reprinted. Photographic
reproductions are given a page by page inspection, whereas textual
reproductions are proofread to correct any errors in reproduction.
