He is also a graduate of Fayetteville State University, where he studied sociology and obtained a bachelor of arts degree. He is a licensed and ordained minister of the Union Baptist Association of North Carolina. Rev. Moore was raised in a rural community outside of Hope Mills, N.C. He received his Christian education and training from Baptist Union Missionary Baptist Church in Hope Mills.
