One wisdom gem in this book alone is worth the price of this
thoughtful and wonderful book. This book of wisdom will make a
perfect gift for those you truely care about - your treasured
clients, your good friends and your loved ones. Be sure to order
enough books to hand out to those who are special to you or those
who you want them to know they are very special to you. Everyone
loves wisdom sayings and we all use them almost on a daily basis
since they make sense to us since they protect us, for instance:
Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and
wise. (Benjamin Franklin) This book has over 1,000 new wisdom gems
that are conveniently in alphabetical sequence for your easy
reference. Wisdom could save your business, your marriage, your
fortune and even your life. These are things they don't teach you
in school - and life can be a harsh and unforgiving teacher.
Continue your learning and continue increasing your wisdom.

This book illuminates the realities of sectional power. Robert
Pierce Forbes goes behind the scenes of the crucial Missouri
Compromise, the most important sectional crisis before the Civil
War, to reveal the high-level deal-making, diplomacy, and deception
that defused the crisis, including the central, unexpected role of
President James Monroe. Although Missouri was allowed to join the
union as a slave state, Forbes observes, the compromise in fact
closed off nearly all remaining federal territory to slavery.
Forbes' analysis reveals a surprising national consensus against
slavery a generation before the Civil War, which was fractured by
the controversy over Missouri.
