Megaron in Athens, Greece.
A six-volume set of music documentaries by renowned film-maker
Bruno Monsaingeon. This collection examines the life of arguably
one of the most influential singers of the 20th century, the German
lyric baritone Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. In addition to singing,
Fischer-Dieskau was also a conductor, writer, painter, reciter and
teacher. Included here are several recitals with Lieder by Schumann
and Schubert, the documentary 'Autumn Journey' and several master
classes.
French pianist Adam Laloum performs a selection of works by
Schumann, Debussy, Schubert, and Brahms live at Switzerland's
Verbier Festival in 2010.
The celebrated pianist performs at a special anniversary concert in
the Teatro Colon, Bueno Aires in 2000. The performance includes
piano works by Beethoven, Mozart and Albenez, alongside encores by,
amongst others, Chopin, Schumann and Scarlatti. Also included is
the documentary portrait 'Multiple Identities' that follows
Barenboim on a world tour celebrating his achievements.
