Believing himself to be the last of his kind, he is thrilled to hear that a female macaw of the same species has been spotted in South America. Blu must now overcome his social ineptitude and fear of flying and set out for Rio de Janeiro to track down the feisty and independent Jewel (Hathaway) and try to win her heart.

King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) is given four days by Persia's King Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) to lay down his arms and surrender. Rejecting the proposal, the battle ensues, and the Spartans are only defeated by the treachery of local shepherd Ephialtes (Andrew Tiernan), who shows the Persians a secret route, enabling them to outflank their opponents. In the second film, '300: Rise of an Empire' (2014), based on Miller's graphic novel 'Xerxes' and set before, during and after '300', Athenian General Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) leads the Greek Army in a war against the invasion of King Xerxes I, naval commander Artemisia (Eva Green) and their Persian forces. Themistocles allies with the Spartans but they are still outnumbered by Xerxes' men. Who will be victorious? The film was co-written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad and also stars Lena Headey, Jack O'Connell and Hans Matheson.

Second instalment of Soderbergh's two-part 'Che' epic, a political drama based on the memoirs of Che Guevara starring Benicio del Toro as the iconic revolutionary. Having helped to overthrow the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista in Cuba, Guevara now moves on to foment revolutions in both Africa and South America, ending up in the mountains of Bolivia while being pursued by CIA-backed counter-insurgency raiders.

First instalment of Steven Soderbergh's political drama starring Benicio del Toro as iconic revolutionary Ernesto 'Che' Guevara, based on the memoirs of Guevara. The film follows events in late 1950s Cuba, when Che and a band of Cuban exiles led by Fidel Castro (Demian Bichir) set out for Cuba from Mexico and, over the next two years, mobilise an army in order to topple the US-supported dictatorship of Fulgenzio Batista. The second part, which is subtitled 'The Guerilla', is also based on the memoirs of Guevara.

Gavin O'Connor directs this action Western. Natalie Portman stars as Jane Hammond, gun-wielding wife of Bill 'Ham' Hammond (Noah Emmerich). When Ham is severely injured in a duel with the Bishop Boys, a band of thugs headed by the devious Colin (Ewan McGregor), the couple go on the run. With the gang hot on their heels, Jane turns to old flame Dan Frost (Joel Edgerton) to help the pair stake out against the approaching mob, whose past with Jane goes deeper than is at first apparent.
