Er war Stipendiat der Graduiertenforderung des Landes Brandenburg und promovierte 1998 an der Universitat Potsdam. Heute ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Bereich Allgemeine Soziologie der Universitat Potsdam tatig und beschaftigt sich im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft mit dem Management offentlicher und privater Betriebe."
